I stayed in a single room, which was quite small, but very confi. I am extremely glad that it was very warm in the room.
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the central train station away, so you can walk almost everywhere wihtin the city centre. It's also very close to the old meatpacking district (good nightlife;-)). The 3-bed room was small, but clean and very calm. Staff was friendly and helpful.
There was not much space for storing 3 suitcases and to put the clothes somewhere in the room.
I had a single room which, though small, I found to be very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the WiFi strong. No complaints whatsoever from this traveler
Close to station and walking distance to centre. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Wifi very slow. Needs a bit of updating.
bed is the most comfortable one that i have ever slept and the location is peefect. 2 min walk from central station and hotel has rental bikes with a good price.
Very helpful and friendly staff
Poor directions to the hotel from the train station (not the hotel's fault!)
We're a 60+ year old American couple, just returned from a 5 day visit to Copenhagen. Ansgar has an outstandingly convenient location, 2 minutes from the main rail station (Kobenhavn H) in a very safe neighborhood. One can go anywhere in the city or the country from this station by rail, connecting metro (subway), or bus-all run very frequently. A car is not necessary. One may worry about being so close to a rail station, but believe me, it's quiet, safe and terrific. Also: the Vesterbro district where it's located has many excellent restaurants. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating, all English speaking. The price is very reasonable for a downtown hotel. We elected not to have the offered breakfast, which is available at an added charge, as there are many less expensive cafes and bakeries nearby. Free Wifi (a bit slow), cable TV with many channels, in room (instant) coffee maker, in room shower and bathroom facilities are all excellent.
Our room was small and the down pillow was not to my liking - both minor issues.
Location, breakfast, wifi, bed comfortable
Close to train station. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Good location within a few minutes walk of station, Tivoli Gardens and restaurants. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast room with a good selection of food.
Walls were a bit thin and the bed was a bit soft
The hotel room was proper. I did not use the breakfast facility.
I filled out the request field with "double bed is a must" (!). Only at arrival I was told there weren't any rooms with a double bed left, only with two seperated beds. They couldn't and wouldn't arrange anything to fulfil my request, even I had been writing it was a 'must'. Knowing this was going to be a problem at guests arrival, I had expected them to be pro active and give me a call in advance so I could arrange something else.
A very nice welcome at my arrival. The room was warm and cosy. Nice to be able to close the curtains. A very nice breakfast with many different choises of food. Also nice with tea and coffee at the room. Nice too meet you all! Take care /Beatrice Vogel
Close to central station, good breakfast, much cheaper than other places in Copenhagen.
The room was tiny and except for 1 very nice, helpful and witty gentleman in the reception, the rest of the staff (mostly middle-aged female receptionists) were unpleasant.
The room was a little cold for my liking, but otherwise good.
Close to the train station, clean and reasonably priced, it is perfect if you want to explore the city from a central location that is quiet at night and serves a very good breakfast.
The WiFi signal was very weak
Very helpful staff, giving us directions when we called beforehand Could store luggage before and after checking in and out Really nice Danish breakfast, plenty of food. Lovely pastries
Location, next to Central Station. Friendly staff.
There is a construction site between the Central station and the hotel. Therefore, I had to go around the site to get to the hotel. The elevator locates between two floors. Make sure you're able to carry the bags up/down the stairs before you make the reservation. The bed was really soft.
Location was fantastic and staff where very friendly. Room was great very clean and tidy
location is excellent for Tivoli, shops, station etc
Size of room was very small. Booked as a double but it was a small single room, at best. Two small single beds, very close together. 100 pound per night is probably good for Copenhagen. I would use the hotel again but not that size room
Location was good - close to station and walk into town, shops, and attractions. Later discovered the Vesterbro restaurants which appear to be reasonable and cheaper than the city
Staff were either rude or unfriendly. Copenhagen is an expensive place to holiday so the hotel appeared to over expensive for what it offered
Room was small, carpet dirty, staff not helpful, very pricy for a zone full of strip clubs. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Vicinity of Central Station - literally a 5 min walk (considering the insane prices for taxes in Scandinavia...), tea/coffee facilities in the room, reasonably helpful staff, lots of space for bath items in the bathroom. It was warm and relatively clean.
The location is by the Station - yet not in the attractive spot of town. Extremely slow speed of the Internet! The rest is TINY. - Tiny shower with water spreading to the bathroom. Tiny room with small twin beds. Uncomfortable tiny pillows. Tiny desk with a non-fitting chair. Tiny walls with bad sound isolation. This was the cheapest hotel in the center I could book in this price. Even that offer is terribly over-priced for the actual quality. CPN is insane in prices and definitely over-rated by Danes themselves.
