Hotel Ansgar

A szálloda a központban van, könnyen elérhető gyalogosan a legfontosabb idegenforgalmi látványosság. Nyugalmas csöndes szoba, forró fürdővíz, első osztályú televízió, bőséges reggeli.

Parkolási lehetőség nincs, illetve ha véletlenül van, parkolási dijat kell fizetni, ami a magyar viszonylathoz képest még magasabb.

The hotel's personnel is of a great assistance and the room, although small, is quite comfortable.

One thing I missed much was that the restaurant was open only during breakfast time.

I have stayed there before, as have I stayed in other hotels in the area. Overall, I find that Hotel Ansgar is the most comfortable one and gives best value. The rooms are simple but fine. Most of the staff is quite relaxed and friendly (though not all).

I have, on occassion, come across odd instances of inflexibility: This time around, for instance, I asked the waitress whether I could take a piece of bread from the breakfast area up to the room where my partner was sleeping in, and she said no. "Can I take a cup of coffee?", I asked. "No", she said, "you cannot take anything". So much for the "ligeglad" attitude that the Danes like to keep of themselves.

Nice service, recently renovated and clean as anything. Right next to some shady parts of town, but far from frightening. Only drawback was the beds, which were a pain to sleep in.

There was a pleasant relaxed atmosphere with helpful easygoing staff - The buffet breakfast was extremely well organised and the staff worked hard to clear tables etc

The hotel locates in good location 5 mins walk from central station with cleaness ,comfort facilities and good breakfast which reasonable to the price.

Small rooms, rather high room price compared with other European capital, but it is Denmark :)

Location

First of all, the receptionist treated us as if we had to know everything about the city! According to me, the receptionist should be friendly and willing to give a few tips about what to see and where to go in the city. Secondly, the rooms where really small but at the same time they had everything we needed. I hope they change the doors in the future because there was coming a lot of light from the corridor into the room during the night! I would rank this hotel as a "cheap hotel" from someone to stay, but the prices in Copenhagen are generally extremely high!
