Friendly staff. Good cleaning. The duvets were not really comfortable. Pillows were thin and no big pillows were available for reading. The carpet needs to be changed, as it is worn out. The breakfast is very basic. The hotel should think about having some fruits and vegetables to offer. It is sad really about the hotel as it has not progressed as many other hotels since the 50s when my grandparents were there. They talked so highly about Hotel du Nord.

Its location so near to Tiboli and the railway station besides a good public transportation to other parts of the city. The staff at the booking desk could be a little more amiable, it does not cost any extra money and the guests would appreciate it very much. I do not complain about anything but this point should improve.

Very near to the main Railway Station. Comfortable room with a bath and tea making facilities - very welcome. No ordinary tea bags in room, just earl gray I think. Bed positioned right near to door. No view to speak of. No toast at breakfast. Overall acceptable though.

The location was great, right behind the central train station. Restaurants, atm, cinema, public transportation within walking distance. The rooms did not look as nice as they showed in the pictures. The room was clean, however the bathroom looked old and you could see old mold patches here and there between the tiles, even though they were clean they gave a different feeling. We had stayed at much better and less expensive hotels before, but it seems that in Denmark everything is very much overpriced.

Location, breakfast, welcoming staff Nothing, I would just prefer Wi-Fi at the floor, not only in the lobby.

The location quite close to the city center, clean room, helpful and friendly staff, good coffe maker WiFi doesn't reach the 3rd floor and seems to be available around the reception only, breakfast is rather "dry" with scant vegetables

Good convenient location, nice size room and facilities. Breakfast included. Slightly exuberant cleaners but not necessarily a bad thing. Cabled internet in room for laptop but WiFi only in common area downstairs

Nice staff good location, old school hotel rather than modern superbudget-shower-in-the-middle-of-the- room type franchise hotel. Eating room much too small. Much too small.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Du Nord for one week due to Christmas and visiting family so it was a good choice due to the location. Two minutes walk to the central station, Tivoli Gardens and a variety of restaurants and museums. The hotel is nicely presented and comfortable and the front desk staff are pleasant. The breakfast selection is good and included in the room price and the room itself was big enough for two and quite comfortable. My only complaint (which I did but didn't help) was that our room (407) was next to the staff room and every morning without fail we had to put up with Eastern European staff yelling at each other - usually in happy tones - up and down the hallway, plus a variety of door banging etc...which is annoying when you've been travelling or out all day and would like a lie in.

I stayed in two different rooms. The first was great. The second, a single, caused me to suffer terrible allergic reaction. I am allergic to cats and dust, etc. and this room was extremely tough on my allergies. Aside from this, the place is nice, inexpensive - comes with a good breakfast and free internet. I left my purse in the breakfast area by accident and it was returned to me quickly and nothing was taken. The red light district is nearby but the hotel is unaffected and it was safe to walk around. Everything is close by - the main train station, Tivoli Gardens and lots of shops and restaurants.

The reception staff are friendly & helpful. Peter helped me to book a good restaurant where I had a fabulous meal, & when my mother needed a dentist he recommended one & booked an emergency appointment for her. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The Hotel is comfortable, serves a good breakfast & is situated just a block behind the main railway & is within easy walking distance to the main shopping street & Tivoli. I will be going back there again & recommend it to everyone.

Perfect location, just a couple of minutes of walk from the central station. And nice breakfast. You might find its room rates a bit higher than in other countries. But considering the higher living standard there and the service this hotel offers, I find it fair.

Great location, close to tourist attractions and train station Good value for money Rich breakfast buffet- I had to buy my own tea though, they don't have English breakfast Its location is very convenient but in the Red Light area of Copenhagen. I would not recommend it to families with children. Prostitutes wait right in front of the hotel.
