The attentive services, and location to City centre. The breakfast service is reasonable, however if you are someone who does not like to eat salami then you are limited in the meat choice. Excellent service from the desk. This hotel is a budget saver, however there should be coffee makers in the rooms and update the decor. The hallways echo, and you can hear people in accompanying rooms including overhead and below. Thin walls. Smell in the foyer was musky. |

Nice staff and exellent breakfast, quiet rooms and a sence of being left alone... the good way =) The beds are seperated making it difficult to sleep two people close together, think it was 160cm wide so eather you get 80cm bed to sleep on together or one person will sink down into the gap. |

The friendly staff were so helpful and resourceful with respect to dining suggestions for the area and for using internet and other services available at the hotel. Its physical assets (carpet, furniture) are somewhat "worn" and well used. For some this could add to the charm of the place. I found it distracting. |

Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere. There was only one small thing that I didn't like. When we checked out, nobody asked us if we were happy with our stay or thanked us for staying there. However, it won't prevent us from booking this hotel again in the future. |

I appreciated the calm of the hotel, as well as the kindness of the staff. The room remained quite small. No real curtains at the window, so we were woken up early each day. |

The hotel is quite central, 20 mins walk from downtown, clean and comfortable. Be careful there are 2 hotels, Carlton and Guldsmeden. We stayed at Carlton and it was good, I think that the other is not that clean. the pillows are very big and tough. |

Staff were exceptionally helpful, not only to me but other travellers I observed. The breakfasts were luscious, generous and very healthy. And the welcome drink was most welcome [tip - choose the dark beer!] Sometimes a lift would stop, or wireless broadband disappear, for no apparent reason. Problems were quickly fixed though. |

Excellent, large room with large 4-poster bed. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, good service. Close to city centre (about ten minutes' walk from the central station and less than 15 minutes from Tivoli gardens). |

Despite being close to the city centre, we found the hotel very peaceful. Copenhagen is an expensive city but we thought this hotel was good value for money and convenient to sights, shops and train station. No negative comments! |

Only 2 city blocks from the main station. Fantastic staff, multilingual and genuine. Bed & Breakfast should not be missed!! Denmark in general is expensive although the hotel was well priced against others in the entry category. |

Relaxed atmosphere, room decor and location. The building and the public places are old and run down. Carpets are worn and there is a musty smell lingering. However, the staff and the atmosphere are so relaxed and great, that after a while these things just add to the cosiness :) Minibar was not cold. |

Very helpful staff. They let me use iron even though I had checked out earlier in the morning. The ladies gave me cake and home made berry juice while waiting for my taxi. Gave me a very good feeling on my leave of the city. |
