Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden

Intrucat am locuit in anexa din spate, a fost foarte liniste; camera era relativ mica dar foarte curata si calduroasa. Mi-au placut produsele de toaleta (sampon, gel de dus si lotiune de corp) bio, produse chiar de hotel, si patul cu baldachin si asternuturi din bumbac egiptean.

O aerisire la baie si cel putin un odorizant ar prinde foarte bine. In anexe, pentru ca nu exista si o receptie, personalul exceleaza prin absenta (nici noi n-am stat prea mult in camera, dar nici cand treceam pe la hotel nu ne-am intalnit cu nimeni, absolut nimeni din atat de laudatul personal prietenos al hotelului, care sa ne intrebe ce mai facem si daca ne simtim bine la ei. Singurele contacte cu personalul au avut loc cand am primit si cand am predat cheia, si s-au rezumat la maxim 3 propozitii strict necesare (plus confuzia de la final, cand mi s-a spus ca ar fi trebuit sa platesc o bicicleta care aparea ca fiind inchiriata de mine - eu nu stiu sa merg pe bicicleta! - din fericire nu au insistat). O mica receptie ar prinde bine.

The state and decor of the room was excellent

An excellent hotel, nicely decorated rooms, very clean and reasonably quiet for the center of Copenhagen. The beds are very comfortable and I liked the organic shower gel and shampoo.

The wireless internet in my room wasn't very reliable. The entrance to the hotel needs some work.

The friendliness of the staff made it a very personable place to stay; the comfort and standard of the rooms is excellent.

The old fashioned tv's which had very bad signal and reception; the breakfast is not included in the room price and, although excellent, is very expensive and actually makes the stay at the hotel much more expensive than you first think.

The friendly staff were so helpful and resourceful with respect to dining suggestions for the area and for using internet and other services available at the hotel.

Its physical assets (carpet, furniture) are somewhat "worn" and well used. For some this could add to the charm of the place. I found it distracting.

Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere.

There was only one small thing that I didn't like. When we checked out, nobody asked us if we were happy with our stay or thanked us for staying there. However, it won't prevent us from booking this hotel again in the future.

I appreciated the calm of the hotel, as well as the kindness of the staff.

The room remained quite small. No real curtains at the window, so we were woken up early each day.

Excellent, large room with large 4-poster bed. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, good service. Close to city centre (about ten minutes' walk from the central station and less than 15 minutes from Tivoli gardens).

The room and hotel facilities were very comfortable, the decor was lovely and the breakfast facilities adequate.

No air conditioning or tea making facilities in the room.
