Location, both quite and not too far walk from shops etc. Very nice decor and great friendly staff.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like!
nice location; nice happy hour nice courtyard view
need help or elevator to move luggage up to lobby for older people noisy people echoed in courtyard middle of the night
Good location Excellent breakfasts
Room request not fulfilled TINY bathrooms No aircon so rooms noisy/hot Lift not working Staff didn't help with luggage Lack of towels and toiletries
Location decent room size
no A/c room are warm poor sound proofing boring breakfast buffet
Breakfasts - delicious and excellent variety. Daily "cosy hour" between five and six offers a free glass of wine.....a nice touch. Free wifi. Quiet location.....location is better than it first seems.
Hot, stuffy room......even with windows open.....no air conditioning.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. Excellent location. Clean and moderately comfortable.
Did not realize that the hotel does not have air conditioning. Small room amenities that the hotel can improve on.
The hotel was central, clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful
The car park was tight, and didn't feel that secure. The room was an odd shape and the bathroom a bit tied.
The staff was very friendly and competent. Location was good, near water but not in the middle of everything and with easy access to central Copenhagen. Breakfast room was bright and airy. Rooms were small but comfortable
Beds were a bit wiggly.
Breakfast was great. Courtyard was fabulous.
No airco. Noise from the street.
Location ok. Friendly staff
Smallish rooms. No help with luggage. Soft beds and hard pillows. Very poor wi- fi connection in rooms
Breakfast was expensive,but very good.
Excellent room. Nice view of lake. Nice cool breeze. Free 5pm wines in foyer. Great feel
Parking a bit expensive
It was a comfortable and friendly hotel. The apples at the entrance of the hotel was a nice gesture and a very much appreciated by the children and ourselves. The staff were helpful and friendly.
We had booked 2 rooms, due to availability the rooms were on the different wings of the hotel. Having to use different elevators to reach from one room to the other was a little tiring at times. Also a shower instead of a bathtub would be better.
Great breakfast. Hire bikes.
No air conditioning nor airflow in the room, so stifling on a warm night. Otherwise fine.
Stylish building and interior with lovely cool public areas inside and outside in the courtyard. Close to Nörreport station for direct line to the airport. Not centrally located but easy to get to the main attractions.
It was 'unseasonably' hot (as we were told) and the hotel had no air conditioning. The electric fan we were provided with was inadequate for even the tiny room we had and it was difficult to sleep.
A comfortable hotel, friendly staff and good breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
With the room windows open, it gets a noisy at times - particularly early in the morning.
We liked the location, the general charm of the building, the friendly and helpful staff, the excellent breakfast and the inviting breakfast room-courtyard complex. We especially appreciated the willingness of the staff to upgrade our room and move us to a different location on our return from our cruise, given the problems we had had with heat in our first room.
Difficulty of bringing in heavy luggage with stairs up to reception and down at back to elevator. Lack of air conditioning. Copenhagen is very humid and was experiencing a heat wave--apparently a growing phenomenon caused by changing weather patterns. On our first night we were given a room on the top floor, right under the roof. Bath rooms with showers which are not sunken and run water across the floor to the drain--directly underneath the (240 V) hair dryer. Scary! The hotel advertises a relationship with the restaurant behind, and I assume they mean the Italian one. One night neither of us was very hungry, but when we tried to order a single pizza to share, the management refused to serve us unless we ordered more food. Perhaps this is typical in Copenhagen, but we found it highly offensive. If the hotel is connected they might want to review their relationship.
For booking with booking.com and not directly with the hotel SPA is not included.
The hotel was in just the right spot to walk and bike around the city. Only about a 20 min walk to the main shopping streets and food market. The hotel also rents bicycles, and while a bit more expensive than some of the local shops (of which there are many), if your day is going to start and end at the hotel, pay the few extra dollars and you'll be across town in minutes. We recommend a quick ride over to one of the top bakeries in the world, Conditori La Glace (closed Sundays), or even just a bit further, and easy bike ride to the Carlsberg brewery.
Nothing really. Just a heads up for people who don't travel to Europe much. There is no A/C, but most of the time that's not really an issue in Scandinavia. Also, the buildings that surround the hotel, which is located at the end of a short dead-end, does amplify the sound of passers by. With the windows closed, it was reasonably quiet and very comfortable.
It's a old and nice building, very well located. The staff is very friendly.
No AC Stairs inside the hotel and to access the hotel from the street. It is very difficult for older people and for baby strollers. They don`t have someone to help with the bags.
Nice location. Pleasant, helpful staff.
Rooms on ground floor can be quite noisy on weekends. No AC...
20 min walk from Tivoli. Good internet.
No a/c - hardly slept. Room is quite small. Pricey compared to other cities.
Friendly helpful staff, who assisted us with restaurant bookings, booking hop on hop off bus, stamps, ideas, taxis. Happy hour in the main reception area every day with free wine provided, which helped us meet other guests. The place has a homey family feel about it. Temperatures were in high 20s when we were staying and the rooms were very hot. No air conditioning. So we left windows open which made it very noisy. As a result we didn't sleep well.
location , facilities Spa and restaurant annex
Size of room was good and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Entrance needs a bell man to help with luggage up the stairs to hotel lobby. Lack of air conditioning in summer makes sleeping uncomfortable. Wifi not the best reception.
