Staff was friendly, courteous and respectful. The location was pretty good.
No free WIFI in the rooms, expensive food and the spa was below standard.
Everything. Great selection at breakfast. Helpful staff.
A lovely location along the river in the heart of town.the room in the club floor was spacious and very comfortable. The view of the river From the room was beautiful.food in the restaurant was good
The room was not so comfy as the AC was veryyyy noisy.
The front desk and housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful. Very eager to help and generally positive. I stayed on the executive floor and had a good night's sleep all through. the view from the Tivoli park is also lovely.
Hotel located in a business-like district. Restaurants, shops etc are a bit further away - although not too far.
the kind people
No wine glass was on the room for the mini bar self serving.
Cocktails and food parking location
Spacial room, helpful staff, good view. Was updated from city view to canal view. Fast check-in/ out service.
Location is little bit away from central interested places by walk. May match perfect for bicyclist
The hotel is modern and clean and within fairly easy walking distance of the town centre. Our room was spacious and we were able to check in early.
It's not particularly pretty to watch the work being done on the waterfront right in front of the hotel when you have upgraded to a waterfront view, but it was only there the day we checked in and the platform had moved the next morning.
Quality and size of beds Sound insulation very quick check in/out great location for walks, runs along river selection of buffet
No free wifi no shower cabin, only bath tube no pool too few parking lots that are not cheap either Poor quality of juices
Executive floor was worth added price
Close to train station (0.5 miles) but a bit of a hike to everything else
great welcoming mini bar. everthing
Poor customer relations and service. Lost or misplaced our luggage after arrival, no apologies or after care follow up. A lack of general care for guests.
Having spent much time in sandinavia I know that good service is not always obvious. Marriot has very good staff who get the American way of service! Location is good if you want to be close to central but in the more quiet part.
The room size and river view was excellent. Bed was extremely comfortable. Access to Club Lounge assisted in making our stay very relaxing. Meal at restaurant was excellent and service was very professional.
During extended daylight periods I think the cocktail food at club lounge should have started later and gone later as most people were still sightseeing until 7.30/8.00pm.
The view on the harbour; the location of the hotel; the size of the rooms
The rooms could have been more cleaner i.e less dusty
Comfortable bed. Excellent location to town centre and Tivoli.
Breakfast buffet ... avoid scrabbled eggs and grab omelette cooked to order. Hashbrowns and bacon overcooked consistently over 3 days.
The location is good, about 10 minutes walking from the Central Station. Beautiful position in front of the canal. Spacious room with sunshine the all day long, due to the large windows. Wi-fi constant and fast. Excellent breakfast. If you stay in Executive room, there is a good variety of hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon, served in the executive lounge. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable.
Spacious rooms, with superb views
Services were not very good. Breakfast in room was average. Room was not cleaned one morning. Reception didn't have enough staff for mornings.
For a supposed 5* hotel, it lacks:- Bathrobes Slippers Heated Towel Rail Turn down service Magnifying make up mirror. Towels were small and skimpy, only two coffee straws, two milk capsules, shower in small bath, Laundry costs $A19 per shirt, Parking $A54 per day and wifi $A30 per day and a small room and bathroom for almost $A500 per day
Location and view
Staff attention specially at the reception
Big room. Possibility to share room with two small children.
Very surprised to find that you have to pay EXTRA for wifi. It felt like going back 15 years in time. Also beds are too small for two adults to share one. However there were two beds in our room.
The location of the hotel, the fitness center, the dinner restaurant is very nice
Everything is pretty average.
Price is too high in relation to offered comfort. Free wifi only in lobby which was filled up with cruise-people staying here for one or two nights.
We liked the location and the the view to the harbour, the breakfast and the bar.
Well, we arrived Friday afternoon and had A LOT of luggage because my husband was participating in the Ironman that weekend. We could have used some help, but no one was there and nobody came! Checking in took quite some time and breakfast was great but at a 5 star hotel I would expect coffee (a latte) to be freshly made and not coming from a machine. The orange juice did not taste of much either... It is a five star hotel, but compared to other five star hotels around the World, it is more like 4 star. Also the fittness room was not good: the thredmill was unstable and the TV did not work and neither did the fan! And one last thing; for us it did not mean anything, but at a hotel in Denmark you would expect the staff to be able to speak Danish...At no time we were adressed in Dansih - not even calling the reception. That's not ok.
