This hotel is situated on Rådhuspladsen, just 220 yards from Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen Central train station.
Score from 1525 reviews Good
The hotel is modern and clean and within fairly easy walking distance of the town centre. Our room was spacious and we were able to check in early.
It's not particularly pretty to watch the work being done on the waterfront right in front of the hotel when you have upgraded to a waterfront view, but it was only there the day we checked in and the platform had moved the next morning.
Quality and size of beds Sound insulation very quick check in/out great location for walks, runs along river selection of buffet
No free wifi no shower cabin, only bath tube no pool too few parking lots that are not cheap either Poor quality of juices
Executive floor was worth added price
Close to train station (0.5 miles) but a bit of a hike to everything else
great welcoming mini bar. everthing
The room size and river view was excellent. Bed was extremely comfortable. Access to Club Lounge assisted in making our stay very relaxing. Meal at restaurant was excellent and service was very professional.
During extended daylight periods I think the cocktail food at club lounge should have started later and gone later as most people were still sightseeing until 7.30/8.00pm.
The view on the harbour; the location of the hotel; the size of the rooms
The rooms could have been more cleaner i.e less dusty
Comfortable bed. Excellent location to town centre and Tivoli.
Breakfast buffet ... avoid scrabbled eggs and grab omelette cooked to order. Hashbrowns and bacon overcooked consistently over 3 days.
The location is good, about 10 minutes walking from the Central Station. Beautiful position in front of the canal. Spacious room with sunshine the all day long, due to the large windows. Wi-fi constant and fast. Excellent breakfast. If you stay in Executive room, there is a good variety of hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon, served in the executive lounge. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable.
Location and view
Staff attention specially at the reception
Big room. Possibility to share room with two small children.
Very surprised to find that you have to pay EXTRA for wifi. It felt like going back 15 years in time. Also beds are too small for two adults to share one. However there were two beds in our room.
The location of the hotel, the fitness center, the dinner restaurant is very nice
Everything is pretty average.
Price is too high in relation to offered comfort. Free wifi only in lobby which was filled up with cruise-people staying here for one or two nights.
We liked the location and the the view to the harbour, the breakfast and the bar.
Well, we arrived Friday afternoon and had A LOT of luggage because my husband was participating in the Ironman that weekend. We could have used some help, but no one was there and nobody came! Checking in took quite some time and breakfast was great but at a 5 star hotel I would expect coffee (a latte) to be freshly made and not coming from a machine. The orange juice did not taste of much either... It is a five star hotel, but compared to other five star hotels around the World, it is more like 4 star. Also the fittness room was not good: the thredmill was unstable and the TV did not work and neither did the fan! And one last thing; for us it did not mean anything, but at a hotel in Denmark you would expect the staff to be able to speak Danish...At no time we were adressed in Dansih - not even calling the reception. That's not ok.
Clean and comfortable will go back again and thank you to the staff
Staff was helpful, very close to tivoli gardens. About 7-8 mins from central stn and high street. Overall good experience.
- Breakfast exceeded expectations - Recently refurbished - Large windows
- Pricey - Slow check-in - A bit of a walk from city center - No in-room free Wi-Fi
The staff were good Location is good (Walking: 15 minutes to the center, 5 minutes to the train station) view clean
no slippers no wifi in the room
Locaition and food are good
Service was bad , when I arrived hotel from long road trip they told me we dont have parking for your car find parking for your self , no one help me with my luggage and internet service not free
Very nice hotel excellent staff and service
Poor facility in room for tea coffee Great hotel with very high pricing but seems to be the case in Europe these days. Pitty though forces you to dine elsewhere and buy you drinks outside
Everything! We got a room with a fantastic view over the canal. Highly recommended!
Location, service, hospitality
No swimming pool, they charge you 10% fee for money exchange
1st rate facilities
2nd rate room cleaning service
Perfect location right on the water in a quiet section of town. It was a bit of a struggle at first because we paid for a deluxe water view but received an obstructed city view. We changed our room but got a smoking room-so we had to change again. Breakfast was great and we were informed it was included with our room but when we checked out there was a charge of $73.00 a day added on. They corrected the problem after I complained. Overall it is a nice hotel.
Getting a room that had been a smoking room.
I love the location, it is amazing, and the see view room is stunning.
The only think that is a disadvantage is the Launch for breakfast in the 11th floor. The place is very small and some times it gets crowded and you wouldn't be able to find a table to set
the view - but only because we paid extra for a harbour view room - the view from the back of the property is awful
checked in to find lobby absolutely heaving with statuesque antediluvian Americans waiting to be bussed to a ship (and this is supposed to be 5 star...), £15 per day for WiFi (!), a long way from the city centre and most attractions, yet no shuttle bus, poorly trained staff (three different answers to the simple question - when does the lobby coffee shop/bar open for breakfast).... and more...avaid at all costs - stay at the Admiral
