Hotel Medio  

Quiet, good breakfast, good position

This hotel/motel is conveniently located near the motor highway and could be recommended for families visiting Legoland (which is 50 kms away), like we did. We booked a two-room apartment in the first floor comprising a small kitchen for one night. Both rooms had two beds and a tv. There was also a sofa in the bigger room. Although the rooms looked a bit old and shabby they were clean. The beds were ok. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. The apartment cost 890 dkk which seems very moderate by Danish standards. In general I feel the Medio is ok and we got enough compensation for the price that we paid.

The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There is ample free parking. The hotel is situated close to the motorway with fairly easy access to places of historic and cultural interest as well as the sea, all within an hour. A simple but copious one course meal is available in the evening at a very reasonable price, although there is no choice as there would be in a full restaurant. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

Rooms are located in a motel-style ground floor "annexe" and are therefore slightly open to view from people walking past. The reception did not warn in advance that they would charge 5% commission on (foreign) credit cards.

Small double room. Near the highway. Ok today's dinner. $ 9 fee for foreign card transactions for payment of hotel.

De Wi Fi/internetverbinding naar onze kamer werkte niet

Der var en dejlig fred og ro. Der var ikke langt ind til byen. Der var 2 at vælge imellem, 4-6 km. Der var ikke ret megen trafik på landevejen.

Kan ikke komme i tanke om noget.
