Reservation was made for a larger room than we received. Unfortunately, our room was in the attic. Besides, a nice hotel in the center

Location; near to Metrostation, Nyhavn, Strøget Quiet street, yet central Ok bathroom

Small room in need of total renovation Non -serviceminded hotel staff exept sweet and helpfull cleaningboy.

Location, facilities, atmosphere, breakfast ... everything was fine.

Breakfast has been double charged (included in my room rate and also charged separately). However, this double charging has been corrected when I drew the attention of the receptionist to the problem when checked out.

Some of the people working in the reception during evening/night time was not just unfriendly. They were rude. I would not recommend anyone to stay at Hotel Opera

I believe that the hotel has a lot of charm, but I was put in a smoking room to start and it was very smelly, however, then I was given a better rom at the very top floor, which was for lack of better words seeming very English, which I liked.

The smell of smoke in my first room and the breakfast area was a bit crowded

Good location (close to metro, close to the old town, close to the shopping area). Nothing much special, rooms not big, but clean. A bit stylish, old house. No elevator.

Staff were so kind and friendly. Restaurant suggestion was also helpful. Many pictures of dancers and artists helped me to feel history of theater.

I liked the location close to Kongens Nytorv with the Royal Theatre in 3 houses and I liked the proximity to Nyhavn with its restaurants and sightseeing facilities. I liked the air of old British hotel with its snug breakfast restaurants, corridors, corners and stairs.

The tap water to the wash basin in my room did not run freely at all.

Location, service and breakfast were OK.

The old style of the hotel looked in first instance nice was on the second very old and in some areas a refreshment is necessary. Also the smell in the rooms was not the best one.

Rooms are two small and smelled cigarette. I had to ask to change bedroom. Old Hotel

I chose the Hotel Opera because of its central location which proved to be good.

Our experience with the hotel reception staff varied. Some were more welcoming and helpful than others. We were told the hotel had wi-fi access, however, we were never able to get access it from our room. They dismissed it as a problem with our laptop, however, by the end of our stay, one staff member admitted there was a problem and technical support needed to be called. Additionally, the hotel is in sorry need of refurbishing. The lamps were damaged and the light bulbs were so small that the light wasn't sufficient for even bedside reading. Clearly this used to be a classy hotel at one time, but isn't anymore. Without major renovation, I could not recommend this hotel.
