Strong sewage odour in the bathroom even after cleaning. Shower hose not clean as well as carpets were not vacuumed from check in to check out. Breakfast buffet little narrow causing small chaos during peak hours. The room heating system could not be adjusted and was really cold during the whole stay. Got no assistance wich was disappointing.
Good brekfast. Both English snd Continental
Despite the hotel is clearly dedicated to Andersen, the atmosphere is typical of a no where place
Good location close to the station and the old centre. Good breakfast.
2014 major rebuilding in the centre make driving in Odense a pain. However, should be resolved soon.
Free Parking according to map given by receptionist The restaurant Groenttorvet accros the square
Had to pay 5,- dkr/hour TV channel: Restaurant open 07,45 - 21,45 We arrived at lunch time, but restaurant closed till 17,00hrs Ordered room service (same hours as restaurant) at 21,00 Only thing they offered was a hamburger, rest of menu not available (Wanted chicken salad and cheese
I liked the hotel very much. I am staying in it not for the first time and I will stay in the future when I am in Odense. I especially like breakfast - if offers everything I need and has a wide selection of different products for the different taste. I like that you can get real coffee, not this usual hotel type of coffee - I like cappuccino in the morning and this hotel gives it. Location is fantastic - you are in the heart of old city, which I find very charming. And you always have a place where to park. I like it.
noise from the street and the railways
- close to the train station - located in a historical area of town - nice good breakfast - if you happen to be there when the market is on, it gives your breakfast a great atmosphere - the room we were is of a decent size - room and hotel are clean and well maintained
- a bit overpriced - the sidewalk around the hotel makes it difficult to walk if you have a trolley
excellent location, within walking distance of the train station breakfast was very good staff went extra mile to welcome me after a very late check-in
The restaurant menu was very poor
Breakfast was good Staff was helpful
Wifi-connection was not stable at room
+ Themed + New furniture
- Paid parking - 1st floor rooms' windows face walls - no natural light
Central Location Good breakfast
General feeling of lack of investment in facilities View from Room was depressing dirty dark brick Decor in room grubby No mini bar
could delete my reservation the second night late on the afternoon. very nice ond helpful receptionist: Ditte Lee , thanks.
a bad smell in the bathroom, and the parking system, quite difficult.
position, breakfast, staff
there where sime spiders in the room, probably because of the windows that was left opened. rooms on street side could be a bit noisy.
Within easy walk of station, comfortable beds, first class breakfast, having a security box in the room which was easy to use. Helpful and pleasant staff.
The view! Wifi signal varied.
Excellent situation walking distance of major attractions, restaurants etc.
Breakfast was mediocre
Ground floor rooms are in a corridor which looks & feels more like a basement than a 4star Hotel. The sports facilities/equipment room also very poor.
I liked the location and the helpful and pleasant members of staff . The rooms were a decent size and well kept . The town itself is of interest being the home of Hans Christian Anderson and the hotel is themed around this and has some pleasant artwork .
The rooms are not air conditioned and I found the bedding much too warm and so didn't sleep at all well . I was also surprised that even though the room had double glazing it was quite noisy . I would suggest lighter weight duvets in the warmer months. The Eco friendly wash basin was also not to our taste . The water only ran when movement was detected and we couldn't work out how to plug the sink so shaving was a problem .
room facilities outdated as most of all Radisson hotels recently visited
the breakfast was fabulous, and hotel is in a lovely place.
the sink in the bathroom is designed so that water doesnt stay in the bowl, and the water comes out in short amounts.
The location was prime, in walking distance to the charming old town.
Lack of ventilation in passages leading to bedrooms.
We found the front desk staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms were large enough and very comfortable. The workout room was more than adequate. The late night restaurant staff helped us have a coffee clutch in a corner after hours that made a great end to a busy day. Would stay there again in a heart beat!
There was a bit of an icky smell in the bathroom, a bit like methane. Couldn't figure out from where it originated. Also the entry hall had automatic lights, which meant if you went to the bathroom during the night, the motion turned the light on, and light up a good portion of the room. A bit tough on anyone trying to sleep. Would still look forward to returning on another visit.
