It was very specific place decorated as an old castle, it's cool bit not too comfortable in usual. But! THere was a chest in the room. Real working old chest! It really impressed me. Also we've got very large window and fashioned table nearby with retro-slyle candles. The room is high and clean. In the kitchen the is everything you may need to cook something. It's much cheaper to buy food at supermarket along the street than sitting in the capital restaraunts. Also you'll have a backdoor garden. Stairs from the kitchen leads there. It's not territiry of the hotel, but you may sit here in warm weather on the table and enjoy the open air. Backdoor garden is close from the street. So enterence only from buildings around. Many different shops and cafes outside, easy to go everywhere. Christianshavn in 3 minutes of walking. Good neighbours. When my cigarettes pack fell out from my pocket I found it on the stairs clean and safe 10 hours later. Small spidernets under the furniture. But it's ok. Thats mean that it is warm and nice place. SPiders are not fools :) I bet it's in your home too. Despite of this room is very clean. Toilet is one for a few rooms but very clean. The building is very old. It's also a plus, it doubles atmoshere but cracks around the buildinf inside made me sad. Not comfortable stairs

Copenhagen is expensive and the chance to self canter on the hoof makes the whole experience more palatable to your wallet. I asked the manager if I could park nearby on a Sunday, he said yes, wrong! I'll forgive him let's hope the Danish authorities aren't too efficient. If your driving ask about free parking it's about a 400m walk.

Friendly and attentive staff My room didn't have any old furniture in it, all from IKEA. It had two single beds, although I'd prefer a big one. And no wardrobe, just an empty bookshelf.

The kitchen is well equipped. I particularly like the little romance such as the candles in the room and the kitchen. The owner is friendly. There is a little problem with the shower but was quickly fixed by the owner. We booked an apartment located at 4 Amagerbrogade but were given a room at 12 Amagerbrogade which do not have lift, which was a bit hard for us carrying heavy luggages. The room is well decorated with antique furniture but they are not practical and there is no place to hang our clothes etc.

The location was good for me as my family live in the Amager area and I needed accomodation close to them. The 2A bus route which takes you into the city centre is outside the front door. Walking time is about 30 minutes. The floor in which the rooms are located is serviced by a lift or stairs. The rooms are clean and tidy. Single rooms are about 10 feet by 7 feet. Mine was comfortable and served its purpose, a place to stay and sleep. The owners are on hand, helpful and take care of the property. There is a communal kitchen and seating area, both very useable and again clean and comfortable. Importantly the two shared toilets with shower cubicles were clean and maintained in good order. Two faults in one of the toilet/shower room were reported and repaired immediately. I chose "Rent a Room Copenhagen" because of others positve reports. I like places to stay in to be clean, tidy and comfortable. This accommodation ticks all the right boxes. I will be a return guest. It would have been useful to have a mirror in the bedroom I stayed in!

i liked the furniture. If you like dusty rooms, crumpled linen, shared bathrooms and cold rooms that this is the place to be. The furniture was dusty, you could not sit on the armchairs. the linen was itchy and crumpled. The host said the room had shared bathroom, after we arrived. The note was not explicit on the site - if it would have been i would not have made the booking -.

No complaints at all. It was pretty awesome! Old-fashioned furniture is something! I have never had such an experience. Clean and cozy 10-room and 2-bathroom apartment, the host is undoubtedly a lucky winner ;). The location is 7-10 mins far from the Metro station Amagerbro (it takes you only 12-15 mins by Metro to get from Amagerbro to the airport)

Rent a Room Copenhagen is located between two metro stations. Also, there is a bus stop (2A) just infront the hotel. Thus, it is quite simple to travel around the city. There are resturants and take-away pizza shops around there. Although I had a map and correct address, I had a difficult in finding the hotel because there is no signboard in the vicinity of the building. I have asked people and the take-away pizza shop for help. All of these people had no idea about Rent a Room. Finally, I asked a waiter of an Italian resturant which is later found just opposite the hotel. He brought me strict to the hotel. Besides, I arrived at the hotel at 8:30pm and the keeper told me that there was no room there though I had made a reservation through Booking.com. The keeper brought us to another building with similar decoration for stay.
