A hotel with very basic amenities, no airconditioning, noisy due to traffic and nearby railway trains, no room service, no ice available.

Very noisy, two small beds put together instead of one large bed for a single person, no air conditioning, no room service, and no no ice available. If you need any thing, you have to go down to the reception yourself. You have to carry your luggage yourself. The staff have a smart answer ready for every thing, e.g. why lights are not working - because they will hurt your eyes when you lie down!!

Nice welcome, friendly staff, simple rooms with enough space (when you are doing a city trip and not staying in the room the whole day). Rooms and bathroom were clean. No airco. There are some bowlinglanes under the hotel and a buffet-restaurant (no sound or other issues). Very close to train station. Cycling to the center takes 10-15 minutes. Breakfastbuffet every day the same, but ok.

We were located at the back, there is a railroad. This is not a huge sound issue, because the track is laying lower but can be a little annoying. At the back there's also a compressor or airco unit, probably for the bowlinglanes in the basement. It shuts down at night, but it makes a lot of noice.

Rather small.

The free parking was a welcomed facility. Most hotels in Copenhagen don't offer such a thing, or charge a lot for it. The city center was easily accessible by train from the nearby train station (trains leaving every 10 minutes or so).

The Internet connection was extremely slow, even though it was wired. The public hotel spaces looked like they are in need of redecoration.

Easy access to mass transport

Good breakfast selection for "continental"

This is a former Comfort Hotel and is a little "tired" internally, although everthing was fully functional and satisfactory.Some noise from the railway if you have a room at the back. Breakfast, being "buffet style" was sometimes cold [bacon/scrambled egg etc] but on the whole, value for money given the Capital City prices around Copenhagen. Ideally positioned for local buses and railway.

Close to transport, staff at reception

For 4 mornings the breakfast was exactly one and the same, the window could not open as there was a pipe above it, there was only 1 tv channel in English (even bbc was in Danish), they were changing the carpet and had not done anything to sign it up (as the elevator stopped and I got out, I stepped on the glue and slipped which could have had serious consequences), the water pressure in the shower

Beliggenhed tæt ved s-tog ok, væsentligt med adgang til parkering! Dynebetræk m.v. var af bomuld og behageligt i heden.Vi har været her før og synes at standarden er forbedret.

Personalet ved morgenmaden skulle være bedre til at gøre morgenmaden lidt mere interessant .. vaske gulvet for spildt juice og se mere serviceminded ud..Morgenmadslokalet kunne se lidt mere hyggeligt ud, hvis ikke de mange overflødige stole var sat op på bordene Det kunne være en god service, hvis de solgte klippekort til s-toget i receptionen ..

Jeg tror det er 6.gang vi var der, det ligger centralt til København centrum og der er gratis parkering ved hotellet. Vi har boet i Valby endgang for mange år siden og man kan gå til tog og bus. Vi hører lidt hjemme der.
