Location is perfect. Hot drinks and fruits are provided at lobbi during the whole day. Breakfast is delicious and rich. Not good noise protection in room.

Great staff and very nice breakfast. Area was very noisy with traffic at train station and party goers from local clubs. The parking choices were poor and inconvenient.

The very best was the receptiopn service. The girl there was top professional and helpfull. Hotel a littel worn donw and bathroom smell a bit. But compared to the price - ok

As other guests have commented, this is an old, formerly grand hotel, which is in the process of being refurbished bit by bit. I understand that no two rooms are identical, so any reviewer is really only reviewing the room they stayed in. I like old hotels and I congratulate anyone who tries to preserve them. The staff here work hard and are clearly proud of their hotel. Reception is friendly and helpful. There is a coffee machine and some snacks available free to guests - a nice touch. There is paid parking nearby, for which the hotel provide a reduced ticket (30DKK for 3 days). There is free Wi-Fi internet in the rooms and the breakfast is good. Again as other reviewers have commented, the hotel appears quite rundown in places (eg the bar area), and looks like it has been refurbished in the past in a haphazard and cheap way, which makes the task of the current owners harder - really they would need to strip back to the former glory and build up again with proper regard to design and quality. I am not sure that this is what is happening. but i think us travellers should support such hotels as much as we can, against the blandness of many of the modern chains.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good. I liked the atmosphere of the older hotel. They have done a good job with renovations without losing the feel of an older hotel. It has charm.

Really friendly helpful staff. First room I was given was a bit tired looking and had a tiny bed. However, the sink leaked water from the drain all over the floor when i used it and they instantly moved me to another room which was fine, if a bit dated.

Det var et dejligt værelse Afløb virkede ikke på badeværelset, men der var rent og fint over alt. Lampe virkede heller ikke, men jeg fik sagt det I reception og de tager sig af det.

Personalet var helt I top. Vi vidste det var et gammelt hotel og vi manglede en seng til 1nat , så vi valgte et billigt værelse , så vi forventede ikke så meget , men blev glædeligt overraskede . Det eneste vi manglede var 2 vandglas, og da vi opdagede det, var det meget sent , og mente ikke vi kunne ulejlige med det. Nu var det temmelig svært at få vand ud af den kolde hane , så vi kunne fylde en vandflaske. Vi vidste godt hotellet skulle renoveres.

Aardig, enigszins ouder hotel met prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Vriendelijk personeel, enigszins informeel. Gratis wifi en prima ontbijt in een sfeervolle ruimte onder het hotel. Locatie centraal in Kolding en centraal in dit deel van Denemarken. Geen luxe moderne badkamer maar schoon en ruim voldoende aan de eisen. Krakende vloeren kunnen rustiek en sfeervol zijn maar ook irriteren wanneer men daar gevoelig voor is.

Rigtig dejlig morgenmad, nydelig værelse oppe under taget. Mulighed for at spise morgenmad frem til kl. 11.00. Beliggenhed I forhold til det vi skulle I byen = gåafstand. Manglede lige nogle små detaljer, såsom at få gemt ledninger, at sengene kan glide fra hinanden, måske muligheden for at lave kaffe/cacao/te på værelset bare via en lille el-keddel.
