This stylish, chic hotel is located in Copenhagen’s popular Nyhavn harbor district, overlooking the Opera House. It offers free Wi-Fi and modern, air conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and minibar. The Front Diner serves classic grilled dishes such as Danish pork fillets or beef burgers on organic, homemade focaccia bread. Pastas, salads and Oriental-style starters are also offered. I instantly felt comfortable at Scandic Front from the moment I checked in. The staff was extremely helpful and each always had a smile. My room was clean, cozy and I was always happy to return to Scandic Front after a long day exploring Copenhagen or nearby Malmo. It is located two blocks from Nyhavn and only a bicycle ride from the Little Mermaid. Bicycles are available to rent from the front desk. The neighborhood was quiet, wifi was included in the price, and the buffet breakfast was excellent! It set the tone for great days in Denmark. I highly recommend Scandic Front and I would be more than happy to stay there again if I had the chance :)

Very comfortable beds, wonderful linen. Pleasant helpful staff We would have liked access to British television since Wimbledon was on . This was not covered by Eurosport or bbc World

Great location and good sized rooms, particularly as we had a baby cot. Staff were very helpful and even allowed a late checkout of 3pm so that out baby could have a sleep before our late flight home. Bight recommend it!

I was upgraded to an amazing room on 2 floors which I was very impressed with. Check out is very efficient. The room service menu was very limited.

Breakfast selection ok. More a 3 star than 4 star hotell. Booked 4 nights but only stayed 1 night since I was not happy with the hotell. Room was dark, poor lighting, thin windows which let in a lot of noise from the traffice ouside. Dirty walls in the bathroom. Old building but refurbished into a design hotel. However a lot of ware and tare on furniture etc, so refurbishment felt a bit cheap. Breakfast area is on the smaller side. I will not stay there again.

Relaxed atmosphere, great location, good breakfast. Hotel looks like it could do with a bit of a makover, carpets looking tired, door fittings scuffed. Towels: few, small and rough. Pillows not great.

The hotel restaurant servedgood food, for alone traveler very good place to have dinner, excellent breakfast. No conditioner in the bathroom, only shampoo. You would expect to get that kind of basic stuff in a hotel of this level and price.

The warm welcome, being able to have a view of the harbour and looking across to the castle. Easy access to the attractions, restaurants, bars and riverside dinng experience. The room was comfortable, and it was great being able to open the window for some fresh air, as I found most indoor businesses/shops are over heated. The Nespresso machine was wonderful. No tea making facilites provided in the room.

Great breakfast buffet, clean rooms, friendly staff. Above all, hotel is centrally located, very close to Nyhavn with lots of restaurants, and within walking distance of Little Mermaid (for those interested). Beds are bit too soft.

The best front desk staff ever experienced at a Scandic Hotel. Breakfast is also very good and the bar/restaurant is cosy. Rooms are clean and bright. The rooms are very noisy as entrance doors are poorly insulated. Toilet is hanging very low and the bathroom floor is all wet after shower.

Breakfast was chaotic! Breakfast food was fantastic but unfortunately ruined by being served in a room with not enought tables for the amout of guests. Also not enough staff changing plates and cutlery and taking away used ones. Shame

Good location. Nice breakfast Room is hot even with the ac turned on. Old and small elevators. And I've noticed that some of the hotels including this one will provide the poorest room in the hotel for the guests made thier reservation thrugh booking.com , due to the good low priceses I guess

“The hotel is charming and has a warm feel to it, like your back in time 200 years in Nordic history .The room is nice, though a bit dark ( small windows because its an old building) but thats no problem.
