The location was peaceful and I was the only person in the whole building! It was nothing like the pictures on the website. So much so that when I arrived at the place, I figured my gps was wrong. It is not a stately manor house, it is a sprucrd up old farm house. Cold, slightly damp. Many attempts such as plaster garden ornaments to make it look more than it is. Would be only suitable for a large function where people around you set the ambience more than the place.. Not for individuals. Decor is a hint tired. Certainly not 4-star and not stately. Only the room price is 4 star. Also no active restaurant. Just catering for large groups. Slightly b and b ish. Local area is farming and light industrial.
