I will say, the hotel staff, it's well traing. I will recommend bigger rooms. It should have a suttle bus to legoland, at least each half an hour. It should have bell-boy service and a luggage room. |

Breakfast was rich and with plenty of space to play for children. Hotel layout of having rooms on 1st floor next to walkway is a mistake for Billund where most visitors come with small children. It is impossible to put someone to sleep inside the room before 23pm when other older kids are still running pass the windows. Not having proper curtains on 1st floor room is also perhaps a Danish tradition you need to get used to. |

one of the best hotels I have visited in Europe the hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and plenty of choices. I would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel Svanen. |

The hotel is rather new and tries to be a design hotel and they offer a buffet breakfast and dinner which holds a good standard for being buffet. The people who holds the power to making a hotel stay nice and pleasurable is really the staff and especially in a hotel like this where the only staff you meet are the reception staff and the restaurant staff. The restaurant staff were kind helpful and tried hard to make their customers enjoy their stay. Which cannot be said for the reception staff. They are truly the first impression a guest gets of a hotel and as well the leaving impression a guest will go with. we both come for the same industry and this is one of the worst experiences we have ever had with reception front desk staff any where in the world. When we write that, we didnt just have one encounter with them but several and everytime it was as bad and arrogant service |

The rooms were spacious the chairs were too flimsy and light and at the tough were falling off. headrest for the double bed was not a great idea and I was sinking down below the headrest.Curtains covering the main windows were a shade too short letting all the light come in at any time of the day or night. |

rooms are large and clean (additional bed was available too), TV Chanles in English, restorant has nice food no minibar in the room, no bath I had a shower, my room view was on the playing place and the pool, so was noisy when Childes played. |

Lobby Looked nice. Breakfast was good. Location very good. It's more of a motel than a hotel. The room wasn't in a great state of repair in a number of ways, such as the curtains not reaching the bottom of the window, and the staff were polite but not particularly friendly. The food was overly pretentious (Including the separate his and hers menu) and expensive. The "his" menu was mainly different ways of doing beef... |

Clean comfortable rooms. Food on offer was excellent at breakfast and dinner Handy for Legoland, but car a necessity if you want to travel anywhere else. Bus service almost non existent. |

Room comfort, cleanliness and facilities were excellent. Buffet breakfast range and quality was also very good. The fact that the hotel consists of several different bedroom blocks with access via outdoor pedestrian areas and some rooms being motel style, may not suit all visitors, especially in winter. |

This Hotel is all you need to visit the nearby Legoland and the marine park Lailand. It's only a 20 min. drive from the nice town of Veije which i reccomend. The room (deluxe with Jacuzzi) was clean and the wireless internet worked like a charm and helped keeping in touch with friends and business. Breakfast was massive and our family really enjoyed it. I highly reccommend it. Good luck! ;-) |

Hotel was quiet and staff was friendly Breakfast could have been better (i.e. there was no warm food like scrambled egg or sausages). Also there was no minibar in the room, which was bad. Also plumbing in the shower did not work properly. |
