Hotel Svanen

We visitted Legoland, and Svanen was the only hotel available at that time in walking distance from Legoland

The evening buffet. The food was OK, but when staying three nights it would be nice with some real options. We went one night to just have a light meal, was offered some sandwiches, but we could not sit in the restaurant eating them. We ended up going back to the room without eating. Another episode was during breakfast where one of the waiters was handling food with a big piece of paper in his nose. If he had a cold or bleeding nose i do not know. Not very appetizing, we had breakfast at Legoland.

Very good location near Legoland and Lalandia Aquadome, helpful and frienful staff, both at hotel reception and restaurant.

Traveled with my son and even though there were 2 beds in the room I was charged an extra bed fee for him. Forgot my toothpaste and although front desk gave me one they charged 30DKK to my bill which was unexpected. The room we got was decent at best and the bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned or remodeled in ages. Keep in mind the pics on the site are not necessarily ones of the room you will be getting. Overall....not satisfied.

I will say, the hotel staff, it's well traing. I will recommend bigger rooms.

It should have a suttle bus to legoland, at least each half an hour. It should have bell-boy service and a luggage room.

Nice breakfast. Easy to access to the hotel from airport.

one of the best hotels I have visited in Europe the hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and plenty of choices. I would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel Svanen.

The hotel is rather new and tries to be a design hotel and they offer a buffet breakfast and dinner which holds a good standard for being buffet.

The people who holds the power to making a hotel stay nice and pleasurable is really the staff and especially in a hotel like this where the only staff you meet are the reception staff and the restaurant staff. The restaurant staff were kind helpful and tried hard to make their customers enjoy their stay. Which cannot be said for the reception staff. They are truly the first impression a guest gets of a hotel and as well the leaving impression a guest will go with. we both come for the same industry and this is one of the worst experiences we have ever had with reception front desk staff any where in the world. When we write that, we didnt just have one encounter with them but several and everytime it was as bad and arrogant service

Breakfast and dinner was excellent (buffet)

Room was too small for 3 persons, like a motel room; neither the bathroom nor the room were 4 star standard. Due to this fact too expensive.

The rooms were spacious

the chairs were too flimsy and light and at the tough were falling off. headrest for the double bed was not a great idea and I was sinking down below the headrest.Curtains covering the main windows were a shade too short letting all the light come in at any time of the day or night.

Lobby Looked nice. Breakfast was good. Location very good.

It's more of a motel than a hotel. The room wasn't in a great state of repair in a number of ways, such as the curtains not reaching the bottom of the window, and the staff were polite but not particularly friendly. The food was overly pretentious (Including the separate his and hers menu) and expensive. The "his" menu was mainly different ways of doing beef...
