The location is perfect. I was asked to pay dk500 deposit for any loss or damage of the furniture. I have never asked for such deposit at any five star hotel. To use the elevator or the toiltes at the recepion floor, you need your key card.

It is perfectly located for travelers who only have a few days to see as much as possible. The service at the counter is excellent, and the people are all very friendly. The welcome was appreciated. The room temperature was too warm. We tried adjusting, but it made little difference. The beds and pillows are much too soft. I suffer with some back problems, and the bed was not good for me at all. I did not have a good night sleep, nor did my wife.

Nothing special but OK. Location would be good - except now the whole square in front of the hotel is a huge construction site. I did not like that the room could only be accessed after 3 pm on the day of arrival.

Nothing wrong with the room but not what I expected as I was recommended this hotel by friends. The hotel ingeneral had a ferry-feeling, narrow corridors, etc. The corridor outside the room was under construction so there was no carpet, just plywood. All dirty glasses etc from rooms were not removed by the room cleaners, instead there were piles of glasses here and there in the corridor. The breakfast area was far too small for the amount of guests, causing queues, piles of cups and plates, and general disorder. Locationwas very good though.

The location right in the heart of Copenhagen was great. Close to the Tivoli, the walking mall and Nyhavn. The hotel was very nice, with a great breakfast. The bed was not very comfortable for two people. It sloped in the middle and was difficult to sleep in. We also had a room on the courtyard, there was a very very loud bar open very late on the weekends making it difficult to sleep.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice lobby, really efficient and friendly staff eager to help whenever there was something I needed help with. The room was rather small. It was ok since I was there for work and did not have much time to spend in the hotel. WiFi in the rooms would have been good, now only with cable.

A decent and comfortable hotel, good location in the middle of the city, wonderful Scandinavian-style breakfast. The hotel was not able to provide me with an iron, nether in the evening of my arrvial, nor the following morning. Some noise early in the morning from the works on the square in front of the hotel. Although the hotel was nice as such, it is very expensive.

The hotel is in a central place I made a reservation for an executive room from the booking net site which supposed to be 22 m and received a very small overcrowded room in the size of 15-16 m.When I complained about it,the staff was very rude and said he do not want to argue with me and no matter the size of the room but that we have bathrobe in the room (which we never use). There was no desire to help. Too bad I did'n't leave the hotel immediately. I was very disappointed

I like its location. We were surprised that breakfast was no longer included (stayed twice before) and that they charged 110DKK for a breakfast that was not as good as when it was free.

Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Hotel's location was very central, few minutes walk from metro station. High speed cable internet in the rooms. Breakfast was a little bit overpriced, though it is Denmark. Late at night (in the weekend) there were rough guys staanding outside the door. There is a busy night club next door, so if you have one of the rooms with the view of main square, there are good chances yu can't sleep on the weekend. Not the case for me though.

It has a central location great for getting around companhagen. Close to tourist information and tour start locations. The staff were unhelpful,. No one to help with bags up to the room. The room was basic with no choice of pillows. breakfast varied depending whattime you arrived. Sometimes you had a choice other times you didn't.

the location is closed to the city town square room was vey small fr 4 persons and we had to move our bags around to sleep ... we booked for a triple room + extra bed but the hotel gave us a triple room with no extra bed... After we complained, the hotel said that that was a triple + extra bed .... From my understanding, there should be 4 beds in the room . Also we arrived at 9 o clock in the morning, but the check in was exactly at 15pm so no early check in allowed

Location is outstanding. Extremely close to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, train station, etc. Very comfortable beds, nice decor, great bath/shower, very clean. Flatscreen television, bathrobes and fluffy towels. We were upgraded to a junior suite for no additional cost which was great, although this was my first stay at The Square, so I don't know how the suite compares to a standard room. Friendly, helpful staff. Overall, it is a great place to stay. There were partially empty bottles of water in the refrigerator/mini bar. I assumed they were left there by the previous occupants of the room and threw them away. There also was not a list of what the mini bar contained or the prices for those items that I could find. After my stay I was charged about $40 (us) and I am assuming this was due to the staff not checking what was used from the mini bar between stays. So check the mini bar when you check-in or you may end up paying for the previous occupant.

This was my 5th visit to The Square in 14months. I love it for the friendliness of the staff and its location. I mentioned this visit to the manager as I left last time and he upgraded the room for free. The views of the Radhuspladsen (despite the extensive building work) were excellent from the room. Free wifi can also be accessed in the hotel lobby. The beds are too soft for me. But this is easily resolved by laying the mattress on the floor.

The location only At our arrival with 3 suite cases I asked for somebody to come and help at the front desk ,since on booking .come the square hotel is a 4 stars hotel and the minimum for this category is this service ,the answer was ..we do not have this service..I Was choked .the second day I asked a member of the staff this is how many stars hotel the answer was no stars because we are loosing our restaurant.then We had to begg a pair of slippers .so I think booking .com should be more careful . I already had exellant experiences with previous reservations but not this time .forgot to say that the rooms are tiny and small and we had to upgrade in order to be a bit more comfortable. Thank you for you concern and followup Janine

Square is all about Location, Location and Location.......no doubt one of the best locations in Copenhagen- opposite Stroget walking street and just around the corner you find Tivoli. The room rates reflect it's location, but not the standard of the rooms.. Value for money is only in the location which is very centralt for a family with small Childred Room scould have been of higher standrad considering the price, no refrigerator in the room and ac was not working well
