This IS THE BEST relaxing, enjoyable, place to stay in Kerteminde! Amongst the Woods and short walk to the beaches, the town, shopping, and more! The Breakfast is fabulous! They even have a boatique inside with handmade jewelry, clothing, knit wears, and unique finds and gifts. This is not your typical run of the mill "hotel". Your stay here will feel like home leaving you relaxed and calm. This was our second stay here in 4 months. They also own the pavillion across the street for parties, conferences, and celebrations. Our circumstance was sad to be there for a celebration of life for a friend that passed, but we were very impressed with this second offering of the stay at the hotel - it is the perfect place for a group gathering for work, family, or friends.
Rooms very basic, cleanness not up to standard. Reception and Bistro staff...EXCELLENT! Breakfast, in my option, offers more than enough for everyone's needs, but unfortunately the breakfast staff is not very attentive to the guests. Maybe not the best way to start your day but the view makes up for it. Rest of the staff, again made our short visit fantastic!

Nice location but still noisy if your windows are open due to the close distance to the "bridge". I was really surprised but it might be the direction of the wind that made it noisy. It is good for a night or a workshop but I would definitely not go for a vacation on this place!
Hence professional work yes, vacation no!

The city looks lovely , but the people we met , except for the hotel owner , were quite hostile (at the beginning) and clearly right wing. As a foreigner it didn't feel very welcoming . But well, it can happen everywhere of course.

Nyborg was beautiful go and see the castle when work is finished
Was expensive but so is all of Denmark
If you‘re fond of beaches and salty air then Nyborg is a quant place that offers all a small family like ours could wish for. The apartment was a joy to live in with its antique fitted furniture and charm and was nicely situated for the wonderful adventures we experienced each time we stepped out the door for a walk or by car. From the impressive power shower, luxurious bathtub, and large dining area the apartment was a joy to live in. To top it all off, we had access to the garden which our children put to good use.
The staff was extremely kind and helpful and arranged taxis into Nyborg and also the train station for us a couple times. Also the manager spent time giving us a tour of the facility and showing us how to access the beach and shore and even walked us all the way from the front desk to show us how to navigate the property. The staff went above and beyond. The Bistro restaurant food quality is far superior to what we expected and the Chef should be recognized for the meal and desert he served.
Delightful hotel with an authentic 1960's vibe combined with up to date rooms and facilities. Great beachside location with views over the garden to the beach and the Great Belt. Easy distance to the centre of Nyborg. Excellent buffet breakfasts, elegant restaurant for evening dining, very comfortable accommodation with excellent bed. Helpful and friendly staff, spotlessly clean, good indoor swimming pool, and bicycles for hire. We had a terrific time!
The lady there is wonderful. She brought us breakfast with homemade bread, cheese, yogurt, jam, chocolates, Muesli, and fruits. it lasted us for two days. She also drove me to the train station in Nyborg so I would not miss my train. The hosts were really helpful and friendly. The setting also was lovely. We had a great stay before my son's beginning of term.
Great stay at a terrific accommodation!
We stayed for 3 nights during our road trip through Denmark. Nyborg is an excellent central place to travel in all directions.
Owners were very kind and provided us with good info about the vicinity.
The facilities are very clean and the host welcomed us with a nice breakfast basket.
The rooms where very nice and very clean. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed a couple more days to enjoy the sea and the pool. We asked for 2 rooms near each other and were surprised when we were given connecting rooms. This was a nice perk for our family.
The breakfast was very good.
This was a great place to stay on our way back from the west coast to Copenhagen. It's in the countryside about 10 minutes from Nyborg. Very comfortable beds and good size room with make your own breakfast. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.
Very nice place. The hotel is well located and just a stone's throw from the sea. The rooms are simple but pleasant and the bathroom is rather large. Good to have a free parking !
The Alokke BnB was in a lovely rural location. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast. It was only a short, easy drive into Nyborg to explore the town
