Score from 1025 reviews Very good
I would have to stay at another CPH hotel to decide what was good about this property. It suited us quite well in all respects as a place to sleep. The bed was excellent and the breakfast, though basic, was supplied to the room.
Our booking did not describe the room as a garret with dormer window and a sloping floor. This was on the sixth "floor" and was extremely limited for space. I can only surmise that the rooms on other floors are better.
Location to Tivoli and other amenities Breakfast - being able to have it in room, no time schedule to get down to the dining room. Staff - helpful Parking - local and inexpensive for a large city
Noise from roadworks (Hotel couldn't help this) at bottom of road.
Was not informed that breakfast in room
it's really suitable for female travellers as there are ironing facilities, coffe-making facilities and full-size and magnifying mirrors.
Breakfasts Rooms Location
Unfortunately for the hotel they have building work on the new metro close by and the builders start early in the morning.
Wi-fi erratic and weak signal Shower not completely cleaned from previous occupant
convenience and location to station but quiet Different way fo doing breakfast at on time in room. Excellent accommodating staff.
Nothing really. It was all good
The location of the hotel is pretty good, only 10 mins walk from central train station. And it is located in a quite area. There are some restaurants and bar nearby so it is handy. Our room is booked as standard double room, the staff told us upgraded to superior double room when we are checked in. The room is spacious and tidy. Except the shower room is a little bit small. The bed is comfort, however, we booked double bed but in the room is just two single beds merged together, which is not feeling so comfortable when sleeping in the middle. Overall, it is a hotel in a good location. The staffs are quite friendly.
The sink in bathroom has problem that the water goes really slow. Breakfast is included, however, it is not a buffet breakfast, not even has a hotel restaurant. You will be eat in the room, and there is no much option you can choose, just bread, jam and yoghurt. The price is a little bit expensive though.
Friendly staff. Clean, nice rooms
Helpful staff, nice size room, bed OK, a little far from main tourist areas but still doable
general area was under construction and not appealing, sort of transition area, some noise
Building works meant roads closed! Roads you had to use was part red light district!!
Good location to central station and city center, staff are friendly and good services, room is clean, coffee by machine at the room was very good taste, a breakfast is minimum but good for money.
we stay 2 nights different room on the ground floor at different day. 1st night at the room along side of street, there were some loud voice from outside in the mid night, 2nd night the room was off the street, no noise and good sleep.
A very convenient location for Tivoli Gardens, the trains and bus transport.
No Airconditioning So a little uncomfortable on a very warm evening.
We were on the top floor corner room, lots of space and light, and away from the noise Very clean Great bed etc
Breakfast was not big and was in the room not in a common eating area
Location good, staff were polite but this is not enough.
We arrived after midnight, we were thirsty, no water in the fridge and no information about tap water (next day we were informed that it was potable). The whole room had a slope (floor and roof) so all furniture was leaning towards the same direction. Only one table was even because its two legs were shorter by 4cm from the other two. I have a picture confirming this odd and uncomfortable situation. Very limited choice of TV channels. Bed sheets were never changed during our 7-day stay. We had to ask for the towels to be changed after 4 days. The room was not well cleaned and twice we were left without shower gel, which we got from the reception. Breakfast was delivered in the room, there was no restaurant, bar or lobby. The compulsory pre-payment of the hotel for the whole length of stay, leaves no choice for alternative accommodation.
Close to station, Tivoli. Very comfy beds, lovely breakfast hamper and tasty coffee. The room was big too, no tripping over each other, far from it.
Nothing comes to mind! We loved our stay.
cost location clean comfortable free wifi would definitely stay again
forgot to renew my English breakfast tea bags for the second night... had to drink earl grey.
Location, size of room, decor and appearance were all very good. Staff were helpful and the whole experience made my stay in Copenhagen most enjoyable.
There was nothing that I did not find agreeable.
Excllent access to the central train station, really nice variety of baked goods included with breakfast, helpful staff, beautiful room. No complaints - worked very well for us!
loved the coffee maker in our room + kettle/toaster/microwave (more than we were expecting). good bread roll/pastries delivered for breakfast. near central station, tivoli and the shopping area. copenhagen is a very easy city to get around, we loved our stay.
there is some noise from new metro station construction, but it isn't too bad
the hotel was well located and generally pleasant, with fresh rolls and pastries for breakfast delivered to the room being a nice touch
the rubbish bin had not been emptied prior to my arrival which brought into question if the sheets, etc had also not been changed prior to my arrival
Where is was located. Easy to walk to everywhere.
Friendly reception, DIY in-room breakfast was OK, wifi worked. Bed was comfortable. Baggage storage after checkout.
Expensive for what you got. Room was OK. No air con. You can't see the TV screen from the bed, which is weird. Close to Central Station and Tivoli but the area is horrible, full of construction and a long walk from any other attraction. Definitely not the right place if it is for a pre-cruise stay - totally opposite side of the city. Bad choice for us.
Be careful!!! During booking ,according given information on booking.com for the room size was 18m2 .But the room was exacty so small less than 10m2 . Quality of the hotel is not good . You can find better hotel when you compare its price
-Nespresso machine in the room -Proximity to train station -Polite staff
-Everything about the room gives the feeling of cheap and it shouldn't at this price range. What you get is a very basic 2* room at the price of a 4* and this gap is impossible to justify. The rooms need a full renovation inside out. -The bathroom looks 40yrs old (it probably is) with wallpaper instead of tiles and a cheap shower curtain instead of a glass door. -A single 30ml pack of shampoo/shower gel per double room per day is provided (and it's cheap & makes your skin dry). It is not rocket science to realise that this is inadequate and of very poor quality! If you wouldn't buy this for personal use then why would you buy it for your hotel and charge people money for it? -There is noone at reception post 11.30pm. If your keycard is demagnitised late at night what do you do? -The floor in the room is not levelled! I get it that the building is old with character & all this but it is shouting for restoration! -Although i am not that fussed with pillows i now know that square ones do not work! -Curtains are light cream with very poor blackout.
