Decor, location and staff. Breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was great.

The double bed had two single mattresses which kept sliding apart during the night. We had a very broken night's sleep.

Best breakfast of any hotel. (Or maybe second best after Union Bank Inn in Edmonton Canada.) Excellent staff. Rooms large and well thought out.

Taxi driver didn't know where of the hotel, but it's just a 10 min walk from the train station.

It was basically in the center of town but quiet The room was comfortable and clean,as was the bathroom. Therre was a lovely little garden with tables and chairs where people could relax and enjoy a drink sold at the reception The breakfast was quite good and ample with a nice selection. There was an enclosed parking area (for a fee). The owners and staff were vey friendly and helpful.

Location and atmosphere

Villa Provence is not a full service hotel (hence 4 above). The only catering provided was breakfast. But what a breakfast - top notch. If they provided lunch and dinner, the chances are you wouldn't want to leave to explore Aarhus. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area. The rooms were simple but tasteful. All rooms appear to overlook the lovely courtyard - a lovely oasis within steps of the main streets of Aarhus. Secure car parking is provided at a reasonable rate - a big blessing for a central location. Best recommendation - we will return!

Very cozy hotel, with good breakfest

The hotel is a lovely French provincial garden, tucked away in the center of downtown Aarhus, and has the best breakfasts ever!

Very nice atmosphere in the hotel and in the little garden. We liked the seagulls and it was very quiet in our room. All service stuff were very kind, helpfull and in a good mood. That gave uscthe feeling to be very welcomed. A very good breakfast with a nice cappucino made us happy!

Our room was perfumed very much! I didn't like that and it was in my nose the whole night .....

Central but quite location. Plesant ambiance. Nice courtyard for sitting in warm weather. On site parking (charged). Comfortable real double bed (one big bed not just to pushed together). Good bathroom.

Footsteps in room above very audible. Parking access through very narrow passage. Breakfast somewhat boring missing the excellent Danish bread rolls.

What a lovely ambiance. The rooms, breakfast room, social areas, and courtyard provide multiple spaces for private or social time. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. A little bit of France in Arhus, plus all the warmth and friendliness of the Danish owners. All the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. This is the only place I will stay in Arhus, if at all possible. Many special memories.

The staff / owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful. This is a delightful boutique family run hotel in a great location with parking. The rooms are charmingly furnished, spotlessly clean and with a charm and character with whicht larger hotels cannot even begin to compete eg a mixture of antique and modern furniture and tasteful decor, creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We are happy to recommend the hotel to anyone.

The room looked attractive, the staff were very pleasant

The room (junior suite) was in the roof and hot so had to have windows open It looked over very pretty courtyard where some very noisy visitors enjoyed themselves until the early hours of the morning. The bathroom did not have a bath, only a shower with shower curtain.

Villa Provence is a wonderful little hotel, tucked away in a surprising location, where old world charm meet excellent, friendly service. I would not hesitate to recommend it to those persons who value quality and character far above the modern air-conditioned, synthetic, cloned rooms where luxury is a matter of ticking boxes rather than a less tangible experience.

As a business traveler with irregular sleeping habits, not being able to brew coffee in the room was an inconvenience.

A great hotel, right in the heart of the city. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very nice and clean.

The included breakfast was very nice, although I would have served it differently. We were served eggs and bacon on arrival, and a tray of breads, meats, cheeses and wonderful Greek yogurt. My suggestion is to lay this out so people can pick and choose; there's plenty of room to do so.

It is the bst hotel in Aarhus. They have very good services, good rooms and great breakfast

The people of the hotel are lovely persons, the building is a beautifull old building lovingly restored, abundant breakfast included in the price however slightly cramped room with very good shower. Denmark is a wonderfull country if only rather expensive.

For små rom og for sparsommelig frokost til prisen. Savn av lobby og bar etter bytur. Fantes sikkert men ikke naturlig valg.
