The wifi was good, at least on second floor. It was close to train and metro.
Shared toilets. Shared shower, it turned the shower room in one big wet room, barely any facilities on room. During breakfast hardly any tables to sit on. Breakfast only from 8am, should be at least 7am. Room did not have curtains only shades, it was very light.
The location was perfect for us, as we don't like to be in the most touristy sections. Market across the street is a gem and EASY access from the subway. Room was nice and large. Breakfast was nice.
WiFi was spotty. Toilettes were quite cramped.
The Hotel Windsor is close to the subway, and there is a good market right across the street. Our room was clean and cheerful, and the shared facilities were well-maintained. Many attractions, including Rosenberg Castle, are within walking distance.
We were there on the week-end, and the neighborhood was very noisy, making it hard to sleep. While this was not the hotel's fault, it would be a consideration when deciding whether to stay here again.
good location value for money for copenhagen close to metro
breakfast a bit basic ,no cereal no eggs older people will struggle with stairs
Wifi reception was very bad. It was slightly better during the day (there was an extra wifi) Bed linen, towels, gel and shampoo not replaced after first day.
Good location on the square, clean room.
Loud street noise at all hours and closing windows didn't block it out (which also made it hot in the room as it was Summer)
Good location - right next to the food market and the train station. Breakfast was fine, the room was a decent size for a single. Friendly staff. Great view from the breakfast room over the indoor food market.
A bit of banging on the walls at night due to the narrow corridors, quite a few stairs to climb to get to my room (4 floors) but the main thing was the AWFUL wifi! It kept dropping out every 5 mins. Come on guys, upgrade! It doesn't cost much more when you split it across the cost of all those rooms every night!
WiFi Shared shower and toilet
wifi did only work 2 hours every day and then very slow. toilet very dirty.
What I really like the most is the location. It's just 10 - 20 minutes of walking to city centres, museums, and even the main station. The staffs are really really friendly and very helpful. The room itself is really nice and clean.
The staff are really really friendly and helpful. However, I hope that the staffs paid attention to the items i wrote below: The internet connection was really really horrible. Two days no internet at all, and the next day the signal was bad or ultra slow connection. I hope the internet connection will be changed in the near future. There is only one toilet in one (third) floor. Shower was ok. During the weekend (friday evening), i heard very very loud music. it appears to me that there is a bar/cafe inside the building complex. luckily, the music stopped around 3 a.m., then i could sleep.
The staff here were very accommodating. I had to arrange for a late check-in in the sister hotel (just over the road) and I have long hair and asked to borrow a hair dryer for my stay too. This was no problem and the staff were very quick to respond to email queries and very friendly in person. This hotel is great value for Copenhagen and you can't beat the location right next to the central metro stop.
On the downside - which is standard for a city centre hotel- it is very noisy outside at night with people walking past during/after nights out. If you don't have to be up at a certain time in the morning ear-plugs would fix this issue. Also the bathroom and toilet facilities are shared between the floor- again this is not an issue unless you are hurrying!
Well positioned, good breakfast, cozy.
Wifi is so slow I could bearely receive an email
I liked the central place, the small room was perfekt for me.
The many stairs was a bit tough after a long day at an exhibition standing. The WiFI was so really bad and I just wonder how other hotels manage without problems. Breakfast was small, missed musli/yoghurt or an egg...
Location in the city
WIFI not working
Room is so sweet and has a lovely vintage ambiance, location is very good
WC are little bit dirty and little bit small
The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The breakfast was decent.
The wifi is horribly slow, I used better internet in the 90s. Forget about youtube, Skype, internet banking, etc. Even facebook takes several minutes to load, messages take about 10s to send, which makes chat impossible. The bathroom and toilet were extremely dirty. The bed had a slope, and I was rolling down from the bed all night. There's also a mattress on top of the bed which moves and is annoying. The reception closed at 3PM so I had to go to a "sister hotel" with all my luggage to pick up the keys.
Great location Tasty breakfast Huge room with fantastic views Extra large super comfy king size bed Old building so no stairs- ask for second floor room if you don't want to walk too many stairs
Hotel is a great value for Copenhagen and was perfect for us.
Very clean, nicely decorated rooms, nice bathroom and a lovely breakfast room. Simple breakfast but noce (bread, meat, cheese, juice coffee). Excellent location right by the norreport metro and a wonderful food market.
Wifi was slow. Only one toilet/shower per floor
On finding the hotel in the street I considered finding somewhere else because a big metal door isn't very appealing. However once inside I was pleased. The rooms are small but fine. The breakfast is tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent (1-2 minutes walk to metro). The price is very good for a central Copenhagen hotel. There was a classical concert going on right outside when I arrived.
wifi could be faster it isn't staffed in the evenings which seems a bit strange there can be some noise from the other rooms shared showers
wifi didnt work for the two days we where staying there, the toilet was leaking water so keep your shoes on when entering!:) its to easy to hear the other guests in their room doing what they do..however loccation is superb! in the centre of copenhagen probably only good about this hotel..
Cost Staff attitude Assistance with cases up/down the stairs Corner room best to catch breeze Breakfast included
Stairs - hotel starts 2 flights up with reception 3 flights. No air conditioner Should at least have a fan High humidity in summer Shared WC and shower not pretty but acceptable
The location and helpfulness of staff
Room was very basic
Very small Noisy Shared facilities
Kindness of Danish people, very helpfull, and professional tratment, we were very glad to return to this nice capital Clean room lots of space, just enought to have a good rest, and forget the stress of work well placed, as well, as we were just 3 min from the shopping area and of course, a must in Copenhaven , Nyhavn... Lito, Switzerland.
no lift, but if you travel light, no worries...
