it was fantastic in lay out and it was like a RESORT than a hotel in a BIG CITY, simply FANTASTIC

from the TRAIN station to hotel it quite hard to find TAXI

Simple and very comfortable room. Nothing special for 2-star motel, but I felt like I'm at home. Fresh air in the town, beatiful counryside view. It's not for common tourists, but it's very peaceful and calm place to relax, just walk around and breath in a fresh air. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Motel has an intersting history since 50s, and a good guide book in a room without stupid advertisment. Rooms are very clean. I had a smoking room, but it was very good an I could smoke to the window sitting inside at a comfortable chair. It was great) Non- smokers have their own sector of rooms so I coundn't harm someone. Good friendly atmosphere around

Nothing to see in ALbertslund. In the morning we just enjoyed peaceful streets and views near the little lakes around the town

I am a returned customer of Wittrup Motel. So far the experience was pretty fine. However, this time I found that the No 54, room be too far that no internet coverage. If you need the internet from the hotel, you may need to check after you check in.

Excellent helpful service at reception. Safe onsite car parking. Excellent restaurant staff and service. First class evening meal from 'specials' board.' Good location for a one night stop.

Very thin dividing walls between rooms. Adjacent sound even at normal conversational level. Basically a night stopover for commercial trucks and vans, Late evening arrivals,early morning departures!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but small and the bathroom was across the hall which we did not know at the time of booking. Someone was smoking heavily in the room next door in a non smoking room and building. The breakfast was poor.

Clean, Easy Access. Wanted an hotel/motel on the outskirts of Copenhagen as we were just passing though and not actually staying in the area. Excellent value for money. Quiet even if it was a busy street outside.

Location, good price, helpful front desk staff.

Entire room reeks -- apologies: stinks -- of smoke. Pajamas still smelled when i arrived at next hotel. No attempt whatsoever to elegance. Confortable reading chairs -- but no light once the sun is down.

The hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. Ba changed our flights, so we were to arrive after check-in times - the staff helped out and didn't look for payment on that night. Also, thanks for room upgrade! The breakfast was very good - orange juice, cereal, very nice warm bread, jam and coffee, tea,. No hot breakfast - but that would be normal in European hotels The staff were friendly and helpful through our 5 night stay. We rented bikes and cycled to a nearby Water Park (it's well worth a visit! See http://www.idraet.albertslund.dk/) at Skallerne 14, 2620 Albertslund Also, would recommend this nearby restaurant: http://www.restaurants-in-denmark.com/restaurant-ishoejsejlklubhummeren.html They provide very very nice meals cheaply (about Eur8 DKK60 for a main meal) We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it seemed popular. As others have mentioned, it's a long walk to the S-Train. We rented a car based on feedback we received on this website. It was the correct thing to do as we had a much easier and quicker time getting around.

The Motel is used a lot by Lorry and van drivers as a stop during week days. At weekend it's much quieter. So, this means that the drivers start the engines at 6am! - so, if you are a light sleeper, this may bother you.

The only good point was that it was only 2-3 minutes drive from the train in to Copenhagen.

We chose this hotel because of it's location and the web page description. It did not live up to our expectations. The description of including leather furniture implied a high standard of comfort, but the furniture consisted of one chair. The restaurant only opened at 5.00pm on a bank holiday, but not at all on a Sunday or if a private function was booked. None of this was explained either before booking or when we arrived which caused some inconvenience for meals. The food was average.

I liked that it was located in an open location with lots of space, fresh air and quiet. It was very peaceful. The staff were quite friendly and helpful as well.

I wish it didn't have a downside because it's such a lovely place but it does. If you plan on staying here, you'd better rent a bike, a car or be prepared to walk because it's a fair 15 mins walk to the nearest train station and about 20 minutes on the train to get to the city center. I guess it's an exchange of sorts; peace and quiet but longer commute. It depends on what you're in Copenhagen for I guess. DON'T I repeat DON'T take a taxi if you're on a budget.

der mangler MÅske lidt hygge, ellers intet.

Placeringen var genial ift resten af København - desuden var det rigtig dejligt med adgang til parken bagefter.

Utmerket plassering i forhold til det vi skulle være med på i Taastrup og København.

Der kunne godt vært et lite kjøleskap på rommet.

Fint hotell når man skal på hundeutstilling. Fint å ha med hund. Alle værelser i bakkeplan. God resturant.

Rart sted, har det man skal bruge og er rent og pænt. Gode senge. Dejlig morgenmad. Vi havde hund med og det er stedet perfekt til, da der er direkte udgang fra værelset og stort grønt lufteareal i nærheden.

Vi var 4 på et værelse, sovesofaen på værelset var hård som sten en rullemadras e.lign kunne have gjort underværker....

Det var fredeligt og tilfredsstillende.

Det var nemt og praktisk med egen nøgle til "eget" hus - så man ikke skulle forbi receptionen.

Morgenmaden var virkelig dårlig. Til prisen kan man ikke forvente det helt store - MEN, rundstykkerne var tørre, nutellaen og smørret var hårdt. Der var kun orangejuice - manglede æblejuice. Og et andet alternativ til hele æg ...... hva' med lidt scrambled.
