This was a trip of a life time.. The welcome I got was so wonderful, I really felt welcome and I loved that it wasn’t a big complex it was such a friendly feeling being at hibiscus. I also loved it was local.. I loved the hikes I went on they were educational and mind blowing such beautiful nature and surrounding everywhere. I can definitely recommend hibiscus and I will absolutely travel back to Dominica and stay no were else than Hibiscus valley in

That I could not stay longer

It is a really eco accomodation in the rainforest by the river Pagua. It's very romantic.

They make dinner and airport transfers, both are expensive.

Food was fantastic! Excellent cooks. Interesting fellow visitors. River swimming & river tubing was fun. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great rum punches & variety of spiced rums.

Needs lights on walk down to river view cottage no. 8 like the other garden view cottages, though someone always escorted me down with a flashlight.

Excellent location- nice setting and near the airport- it's right on the main road but since there isn't any traffic it doesn't matter and makes finding it easy. beautiful gardens, clean, well kept up, and the best food we had while in Dominica. We preferred the Atlantic side to the Caribbean side and the Inn is pretty centrally located to hiking, several waterfalls, and not too far from Baitou beach- our favorite.

our room was quite dark but our traveling companion had a very nice room that was light with lots of windows.

    Setting lush, beautiful, enjoyed hammock.

Zero hot water, stopped taking cold showers when I was a kid, if you get my drift. Three friendly dogs "adopted us and we ways at out hut waiting for a handout net taking cushions off out Chris for them to lay on. One had fleas, slept in front f dorr, sounded like he was knocking all night, kept us wake in addition to the heavily leaking water tanks that went all night and made exit muddy and disgusting. Twin top sheet on double bed meant one of us was going

The location and the cottages in the garden The general location & sense of peace The friendly staff The good dinners cooked by Nigel The walk with the 3 dogs

Cold showers, but not too bad considering the temperature outside and there normally is hot water

The staff went out of their way to get one of our cases that LIAT had lost. Although it took a couple of days, their relentless pursuit tracked it down to Guyana, South America and got it expedited to us before we left. Nigel, the chef, was fantastic and his food prepared with local produce was excellent. This is living in typical Dominican wood & shingle huts but with all the amenities - bathroom, fan and electricity. Traditional beds and mosquito nets for the bugs. Basic but functional. Fantastic setting surrounded by tropical rainforest with a lovely decked area with hammocks etc. Across at the main house there is a large breakfast area and bar & restaurant upstairs. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

No hot water for the shower - made it a bracing experience - switching the hot water on made it less cold
