So - the room was very nice, plenty of size, clean. Grounds nice, pool nice, lounges nice and restaurant ok. No beach. Big plus - very very hot shower plenty of water. Has a sign saying "water filtered 99.9%" safe to drink ..... i admit, however, i got a touch of diarrhea last day - could have been previous place that we stayed......... (Eco Lodge).

Honestly i just booked the place as a cheap hotel, but we got plenty of value out of it. I enjoyed the pool, the piña colada, and there are many places where you can eat super nearby.

Really wonderful place. Kibayo offers a little zen just about a comfortable distance away from all the hustle and bustle from the town. Offers a community-type of vibe with a small pool, common kitchen and a lagoon right next to it. Hosts are lovely and welcoming here Really great experience.

Steps from the beach and several restaurants, but far from the rest of town. It wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for some although there are plenty of guaguas that go by. As the name implies, lots of kite surfers from different countries.

The rooms themselves were very cool. The whole place seemed like it was beautiful and cool 5 years ago, and no one cares anymore. Perhaps it was because the owner was out of town, it felt like those left in charge didn't care for the place.

Cabarete has a laid-back feel that is perfect for an easygoing vacation. The waves are fun the play in and the water/wind sports are fun and colorful to watch. Getting around is easy by walking. High tide will make some of the beach walking a challenge if you are too far down the beach, but still doable.

Cabarete has a very different atmosphere than other parts of Dominican Republic. It is a surfer town with a very relaxed energy. You find good restaurant options (fresh fresh cafe, gorditos fresh mex, la casita de papi, mojito bar, belgium bakery, vagamundo coffee, friend’s, ojo club), some shops, fun relaxed night life and there is a nice enough beach with bars, restaurants and kite and windsurf rentals/schools. It is quite a small town so staying here for a longer time could become boring if you don’t do day trips to other areas near by. I travel a lot to the DR and always enjoy staying 3-5 days in the area because of the nice restaurant and relaxed surfer vibes and the change to another part of the country to continue my vacation.

Lots of shops with a variety of goods along main street (busy so careful crossing). Bars & restaurents were excellent! Good entertainment, lots of expats in town and along the beach. Dominicans are friendly and helpful.
As elsewhere, stay with the crowds if out at night. Stay on the beaten track. I walked all over during the day, A small nieghbourhood bar was a great stop on a hot afternoon.

Compliments to the helpful and pleasant staff.
Compliments to the helpful and pleasant staff. Extra cudos to Senior Santos, Jennifer, the security team and maintenance crew that made me feel very welcome. It suited me for a quiet space to decompress and enjoy some reflection time. I would highly recommend this property for couples and solo travelers. The local residents were also kind and pleasant to mingle with.
Thank you all again, I plan to return next year.
Cheers, Chris from Canada.

Great for foreigners, it has a budget for everyone in terms of restaurants, accommodation, and things to do. It is about a 4-hour drive from Santo Domingo. The beaches are nice and the water is warm. I would highly recommend staying here.

Some problem in the begin because they cant find my reservation, no matter show the reservation in my phone, also in my email and they still discussing, but after they fixed, everything going very well. Was very grateful because when they did the mistake, they give to us a spectacular suite i front the beach and the swiming pool. Was super
location is minutes away from everything, make sure elena tells you about the short cut which allows you to walk to the beach, downtown cabarete, and belgium bakery and coffee shop for breakfast or pasties in minutes. I have stayed in this area other years and this was the quietest of them all . Other places have the loud motorcycles going by frequently but elenas is at the end of a dead end street where everybody knows each other, very safe and quiet with the quick access to everything.
We loved the kite beach right in front of the hotel and the general atmosphere. The staff was very nice and they all seemed happy to work there. The restaurant was great, the food was rich and diverse. Especially the bellmen were very friendly and als ways up for a chat. The bar was great too, they had a lot of smoothies which we loved. We loved that every room had a balcony. The property was very well kept and the flowers/plants were very beautiful.
Design of my room, the architecture of the buildings, the landscaping & the location. Water was always warm with good pressure for showers. Very tranquil day or night. Beach towel avail, room cleaned daily, safe in room, mesh on windows & sliding door to keep bugs out. Good a/c though I hardly used it. Mini fridge with bottle opener attached. Towels & washcloths provided. I would stay here again & can recommend this Cabarete hotel.
Ok
The facilities were awesome..Everything I needed was there. The staff helped with any problems, which were none.Beautiful yard to have a BBQ, or have a beer.Everything was close and handy.Beautiful ocean front 30 seconds away.Nice bar and restaurant also 30 seconds away.Grocery store 10 minute walk.Nice cold air conditioning , nice hot showers.Very secure, and nightclubs 15 minute walk in beautiful Cabarete
Very special place in Cabarete! In the heart of everything but at the same day away from all the loudness and tourists. The garden is just beautiful and with a nice pool to cool down on a hot day.
The loft has everything you need and a nice kitchen if you‘re tired of eating out in various awesome bars/restaurants
This place is an absolute gem. It’s ocean front with a large pool and continuous breeze and it’s easy walking distance to Janet’s grocery store and all of the nightlife (bars, restaurants, and dancing venues) right on Cabarete beach. You meet lots of lovely Dominican families who vacation there too.
Great little place near restaurants on the beach, a short cut thru a restaurant was easy access to the sand, the coffee shop, juice bar, spa and hammocks were really cool, people used the kitchen, great wifi, very clean
In the very center of Cabarete, beach and many beach restaurants just over the street. Very clean, big, well equipped, and beautiful apartment. Very kind support by owner and local contact person Patrick.
Beautiful property! the apartments are spacious, modern. The location can’t be beat…right on the beach. Love the pool area and beach chairs if you want to sit on the beach. Great location in Cabarete

I like also the area, it is very peaceful place, out of center Cabarete, I will definitely go back again
The food was really good, the staff was friendly and nice. The hotel is in a good spot next to the beach.
A lot of variety at the buffet and the food was good at the restaurants too.
My husband and I had a great time at this hotel! Relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff. Surf beach 5 min walk. We would love to go back again!
Everything was great. One of the best hotels that I have stayed in the DR. Solius is great too - nothing is too much trouble for him. A real gentleman and a hard worker too.
such a warm welcome. we didn’t have that much luck in the Dominican Republic with accommodations and finally a hotel that was well maintained and clean for a great price
