being able to wander around w/ many options of places to eat close.
Hotel restaurant was excellent. Grounds, pool and rooms were all maintained to high standards. Owners residing on site helps assure smooth operation.
I was staying on a busy DR holiday weekend and the parking was somewhat limited. After the weekend when the guests from Santo Domingo left the parking was fine.
Absolutely loved this hotel. We came for our honeymoon and stayed in a charming studio. Room was comfortable, bathroom amenities were better than the average. All rooms have ocean views. Pool was big and clean and the sunken-in bar was a plus. Best part was the spa! So relaxing and the staff was very friendly. Close proximity to town, about a 10-minute walk.
The restaurant food was just OK, but there are so many great restaurants walking distance.
stayed here before, just a nice, clean, comfortable property to stay at in las terranes
Very good place in front of lovely beach. The hotel is not too big nor crowdy, and it has excelent breakfast, friendly staff, good wifi.
Excellent hotel on a beautiful beach in walking distance to many nice beach front bars and restaurants; though, the hotel has a very good restaurant too
Modern, clean and functional with nice beach front location, good facilities and nice breakfast buffet.
Not so personal or authentic, rather a hotel for families, group charter etc.
Really nice food in the restaurant
We loved everything and would like to go back! Very nice location, fantastic apartments, helpful personnel, very good food in the restaurant, calm and relaxing! We hope to be back soon!
Attentive staff. Excellent food at the restaurant.
I liked that it was right on the beach, close to restaurants and shops. I loved the breakfast, which was included. I had a massage and on that particular day I was having digestive problems. When the masseuse finished, my problems were gone.
Perfect setting...terrific food and service. Comfortable clean rooms. The hammock on the balcony was a great touch. We will return and stay longer.
Beach, pool, breakfast, staff
unreliable wifi, price
Very clean facility with a distinctive euro flair. Excellent breakfast. Close to fishermans restaurants. Helpful staff.
Maybe a little too close to action. Noisy street.
I like that it is infront of ocean, also location has a day and night walking guard. hotel is like apartment style. I also like that breakfast is included and has a lot of choices and also different things everyday, i love natural juices from breakfast.
I had a problem with front door of room #52, it was difficult to open and soap is really small.it will be nice to have extra comforter, air conditioning it is very powerful, that is good, but for me i need more coverage at night.
Restaurant breakfast and meals. Friendly restaurant (Baraona) staff Swimming pool clean
Wifi signal too weak inside the rooms
Beautiful grounds, buildings, setting and the most helpful, accommodating, warm and friendly hotel staff. Great location to have a quiet relaxing vacation on a beautiful, sandy, palm tree lined, turquoise water beach yet walking distance to a lively town with lots of restaurants and shops. The Restaurant Baronda at Hotel Alessi was one of our favorites. Centrally located for an easy drive to the many gorgeous beaches and waterfalls on the peninsula. Already planning to bring our adult daughters for a family vacation next year. We travel to different tropical places every winter that aren't too touristy but feel safe and this was the most wonderful trip.
Невероятно комфортный вкусный и удобный отель прямо на берегу. BEST in this town !
I was very upset to leave from this hotel - did like to stay more :):)but had no time
the room, the grounds, the location on the beach.
Really lovely stay. My husband, our 4-year-old son and myself stayed for three nights. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the lovely views, the peace and quiet, the pool and the ease of just spending a few days relaxing. The balcony area is great, we spent entire afternoons out there. Also, very convenient to have the kitchen set-up.
One thing would be nice if they equipped the balconies with a citronella candle (or recommend folks to bring something similar). We didn't expect so many active mosquitoes (this time of year, there aren't as many in Santo Domingo). Very minor issue...
Excellent staff. Solve problems within minutes.
Clean not to good, pour selection on restaurant menu, and most the time dont have whats shows on menu. No elevator to apt, and if you have problem its a major issue.
The ground and pool were very nice. The outdoor patios were great places for our group to meet for drinks before dinner. The outdoor fans and bug zappers helped keep mosquitos to a minimum. The breakfast was very good - lots of choices and high quality.
The staff were not very knowledgeable about places to dive and snorkel nor about who to contact in the area to get this info. They couldn't tell us where to rent boogie boards or the best place to go for that. They did recommend one local shop, Profundo Blue, to take us snorkeling out at Las Ballenas. A man in the office called Profundo to make reservations for us and told us it was $35/person when it was actually $25. He tried to scam us out of $70 since there were 7 of us. Also, one shower had no hot water until the last day. Also, the door intermittently shocked you when you opened it. A 60 year old man in our party had to see a doctor do to the extreme shock he received with his wet bare feet. The hotel did reimburse the doctor fees and had the doctor come to our room.
-very clean -spotless pool with beautiful grounds -wonderful helpful staff - quiet location -onsite top quality restaurant
wi-fi was slow and unreliable depending upon time of day but not sure if this was hotel problem or countrywide circumstances.
