Great food selection, relaxed atmosphere, a lot of space
Cockroaches near the fridge
Adults only, very apropriate! The views and the buildings are gorgeous! the cleaness in any places was perfect (beach, etc.). Many things to do! SPA excelent!
The same kind of music all the time and in every places, every days! The coktails are simple made and doesn't care about quality! Campari and lemon wasn't avaliable several times! Nobody told us how to manage the apartment equipments (air condinitioning, etc).
- free drinks and high quality liquor - beautiful location - room and bed confort - Good DJs in the disco
- extremely late check-out, I arrived at 13h00, they promised me my room for 15h00, it was only made available at 16h30 - paid internet, at this juncture? not acceptable. - food is only average to bad, the main buffet is bad, the food doesn't change and it is reheated from lunch to dinner - very difficult to make a reservation for the non-buffet restaurants, but when you get there, they are empty - the food quality in the 'reservation" restaurants was only passable to bad - windsurfing equipment is very old
options (food swimming shopping)
A fantastic place to go for holidays. Everything but one minor thing was just excellent.
Paid wifi was unstable, slow speed. Though this was more than compensated by the other great experiences w've got.
High quality service and attention from Staff.
Beach was not clean enough
The pool and beach areas were very clean and well kept up.
No respect for the quiet policy after midnight. No policing of the other guests that are loud and unruly after hours.
The location was beautiful and the beach was perfect. The adult only section was so relaxing had a great pool and the chez gourmet restaurant was the best. There was always entertainment in the theater at night and always something to do during the day. It was the best vacation ever!
La brisa restaurant wasn't that great but the buffet was ok.
Everything was perfect
animators were the greatest, facilities were comfortable, beach was beautiful
alcoholic drinks included were horrible
The cost 1st of all was very affordable! The location was amazing, my room was on the 1st floor ( recommend) & had a ocean view! Walk to beach in 2 minutes from my room! The staff was ways always helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok, lunch buffet better at La Brisa. For dinner reservations I recommend the Steakhouse. &Amp; Mexican! Reserve early they fill up quick . For the price it was amazing deal for all the amazing perks & benefits!
Make sure if your using bank card (not credit card) you tell your bank your traveling overseas. I had some trouble checking in ( fraud alert on my account & it was a Sunday) I had to deal with that issue for two hours before a compromise was made by hotel to let me check on, was able to talk to my bank to release funds on Monday morning. Other than that none, I will be going back!;)
It is a solid all inclusive resort that looks exactly as the pictures show. There are kilometers of a white sand hotel beach, and you can walk along the shore beyond it to infinity.
The sound isolation is non-existent: I could hear the sound of a zipper in a neighboring room. The buoys are set no more than 15 meters off the shore which hardly allows you to swim. You cannot really cross that line as motor boats are flaunting beyond it non-stop, so that the smell of petrol and sound of motors are the omens of your day on the beach. In general the resort reminds a huge bustling shopping moll which is jokingly set up on a beautiful beach. Finally, the SPA is overpriced to all possible standards.
Pool was awesome. Staff was incredible... Very smart... Very beautiful... Everyone remembered my name. I loved that there were not a ton of Americans at the adults only section (I'm American) for it really helped me to escape. There were plenty of Americans in the all ages section and I could easily go if needed. The beach... Especially at night is mui spectacular.
Booking.com had a killer rate on the resort compared to who I talked to. The only issue I had was trying to figure out how to get to the resort once I landed. I found some Americans... $30 US later I was on my way. So all and all... Me being a non Spanish speaking person was the real issue haha.
Everything, if is really heaven on earth
I cannot find one thing I did not like
I was blown away by this place. The view was great. You have access to the Adults Only and the Bavaro Palace Deluxe. Nice beaches and pools. And a swim up bar! Great food. Three buffets and about 8 or so different restaurants. The staff was very friendly. Most are bilingual to some degree and will talk to you and joke around with you. It helps to know some Spanish though. The room is spacious. The toilet and shower are located behind a door and two sinks are located on the other side. The bedroom is located behind a door. It feels a little like a suite. The mini bar is stocked with soda, beer, and snacks every day. So much to do onsite. I played golf at their very nicely manicured 18 hole course. I also went kayaking and learned how to sail a 4 person catamaran. Always something to do; you don't need to go off site. Plus they have a trolley car system that will take you all over the resort. For the price, it would be hard to beat this place.
I did not care for the night club. I would have liked better music. The music they played did not get people to dance. Only a small amount of the people there would dance and the rest would stand around like they were waiting for something. It could be that most of the people were shy foreigners like me though!
Location, Big Room with nice seaside view.
All the facilities and there are many... but especially the pools. Many a la carte restaurants. The fact that we got to use both our facilities as those at Bavaro Palace Deluxe
There's alot of personnel and although there were alot really friendly ones, most of them look like they don't want to be there. Ofcourse I don't know what they're being paid and in what overall conditions they are employed.
You had to make a reservation for everything, from dining to water sports. Staff did not go out of their way to assist guests. They didn't seem well trained at all.
the food is too Americanized, bland. I prefer dishes with more native flavor
-Excellent location. -Outstanding, large, clean and quiet beach area. -Quality and variety of food was exceptional. -No merchants trying to sell their goods at the beach. -Great activity choices. -Very friendly and courteous staff throughout the facilities.
-The coupon system does not correlate with a 5* facility. -WIFI should also be included at this level of facility. -Drinks were often a bit watered down.
The hotel, facilities, shows and food were excellent and I would definitely go back to this hotel.
Most staff were polite but some were not so happy. The pool side areas were very busy, lots of sunbeds but all taken early.
