    We like the options and facilities for little kids. Pools and activities (day and nights).

    I hear my neighbors running up and down the stairs until the go to sleep. But is nothing that the hotel could do beside in other rooms we do not hear anything (is the 2nd time that we stayed)

    Nothing... for the sake of providing a positive statement we'd have to say that the sun was exceptionally beautiful (probably because it wasn't under their control)!

    The resort or combination of resorts (5) is too big to be properly managed (personnel are or seem far too overwhelmed, hence forced to neglect the core of their service - customer satisfaction)...

    Staff was friendly and the food was good.

    I chose the option to pay at hotel. When I got there nothing was on file and we had to use my friends info and credit card to re do the reservations. After waiting for a long time we finally got the room.

    My niece and I had a great time in Barcelo. The room was clean and spacious. The food at the buffet was divine and the staff were friendly and efficient. Because my niece didn't pack appropriate clothes for the specialty restaurants, we were unable to dine at those places. F.G. New York City

    After checking in, the receptionist showed a map where our room was located. It was far from the beach. (I don't think room locations are indicated on the website.) The receptionist then said that for an additional $25 for the entire stay, we could have a room near the beach. To make sure I heard her right, I posed this question - additional $25 for the entire stay? She said yes, but when I was handed the receipt, the total was $75.00, which meant it was $25 more per night. I didn't have any problem paying for the extra but I didn't like the receptionist's attitude. When I mentioned what she told me earlier, that is, additional $25 for the entire stay, right away she said I could cancel it. She did not apologize for giving me an erroneous information. F.G.     Great resort with lots to do and great restaurants.

    Would be nice to have a shuttle to get to places within the resort.

    The beaches were stunning! There are at least half a dozen pools, and one had a glorious swim-up pool bar. I'd definitely revisit this hotel. Casino and connecting bar were especially fun.

    After 7 days of the same buffet, the food gets a little boring, so arrive early to get the freshest, best food possible.

    Facilities, location, good value for $$

    Staff were terribly unhelpful and did not speak English well enough at all. I understand not everyone being fluent but this was unacceptable. Lots of random "rules" that made room credits useless and it hard to pay for things while in the resort. Very disorganized check in process and rude front desk staff.

    Great hotel, excellent facilities, different restaurants, free shows in the evening.

    - Have to pay for Wifi 45 USD a week and that is not working too well. - Design of the ' All inclusive' bracelet - you could scratch and hurt yourself or your children with it

    Friendly staff, excellent beds, swimming pool, food, restaurants, beach

    Electrical problems in room, tv aand coffee pot didn 't work. Shower drain plugged and toilet leaked. Electrical repairs were made. Plumbing problems remain.

    Huge resort - prepare to walk. Staff - need to be trained and be more polite. Food - Not great.

    Great facilities with spa And variety of restaurants. Quality of food is very good. Location close On/close the beach of the premium suites is wonderful - you can wake up with the full view of the ocean. Very kind And friendly staff in general. Very clean And well maintained rooms!

    The house wine is not good which is suprising as the quality of the food and beverages in general is high. The watersports facilities are not maintained (example from the 5 sunfish sailboats only 1 boat worked), windsurfing equipment also broken And not maintained. The watersports equipment certainly does not reflect the quality And the price of the hotel! The fact that you can only enroll for 1 hour per equipment type And that there are waiting lists shows that more people would enjoy and probablu expect more and better equipment for a 4/5 star resort!

    It was beautifully located on the beach.

    It was not worth the money. It had a very stale environment and felt very cheesy. I tried to sit by myself on the beach but had multiple employees come and talk with me telling me how beautiful I was - very creepy. Overall, it just wasn't a good time. I would definitely recommend going to another resort.

    The beach with palms trees and white sand, green/blue color of sea (much more beautyful in situ than pictures of its site shown), cleaness and perfect-maintainance, good staff, beautyful and not crownded pools, in sum all of installations are so good! I strongly recommend!

    The wine served as part of ("free") all incluse could be strongly better due to all were non-brand wines, even red, white and sparkling! This (2014) was my second staying there and in my first (2013), all wines were Spanish wines weel-known brands, eventought were medium quality, and the sparkling wine was Freixenett (good Cava), this second time all wines seamsly own brands of Barcelo (and not so good). The lunch buffet was better in my first visit in 2013 also! I hope Barceló changes it due to I hopely be back there because staff, beach, rooms, pools, spa are all excelent!

    Good value tor money. Rooms clean and nice jacuzzi makes a difference.

    Check-in took ridiculously long even though there was barely a line.

    the hotel is very beautifull, the beach is breathtaking, the pools are awesome, the restaurants a la carte are delicious, there is entertainment 24h a day!!! you will never get bored! the hotel room is perfect, we had our own jacuzi. I really recommend staying at barcelo bavaro palace deluxe. the people from barceló vacationes are very friendly and helpfull and are well organized.

    I found the staff not very helpfull. their spanish was really difficult to understand, and most of them didn´t speak english. they didn´t make any effort to give any explanation. for example, we didn´t make a reservation for an a la carte restaurant the first night because we weren´t told how to and until what time we could do so. it took the receptionist more than half an hour to check us in, which is absolutely crazy because i had my bookings reservation with me. it also took a while to check out. the receptionists looked like they didn´t know what the hell they were doing, and looked totally lost, leaving us feeling lost as well.

    Everything, except...

    ... The staff needs to be training better how to treat , say good morning, smile on their face,also explain the service even in Spanish because we also speak spanish. We went to cancun last year and staff there are great.

    The beach was just excellent, very beautiful nature. The food in buffet restaurants was of good quality and variety. Lots of facilities.

    Service at a la cart restaurants was very poor, not that what you would expect from 5 star hotel. Shabby old furniture. Very few staff members speak English. Very expensive WiFi. On some days cleaning lady showed up at 5-6pm to clean, thus our room wasn't cleaned 1/3 of our stay.

    - Food - Deceiving language on website with regard to golf fees (there is no stay 2 nights, play one round free) - Difficult to commicate if you are not proficient in Spanish, especially if there is an issue that requires explanation.

    Food and beverage excellent. Friendly smiling staff. Clean hotel that was very comfortable and well organized.

    Having to pay extra for an expensive wireless internet service that was very poor and in many areas did not have reception.

    The room and beach were fantastic. The pools were huge and the food was generally very decent.

    Our first all inclusive experience which we did not enjoy that much. Nothing against the hotel although I believe it to be overpriced for what you get. They could have more bars on the beach so you don't have to walk 1km to get a drink during the day.

    Hotel Garden, Public areas excellent, Restaurants food excellent

    Beding has dirt spots, stairs was dirty. We spend 10 days, was OK. At the pool was no towels, the crew told me "bring yourself from the other pool". At the reception it takes everything very very long time. Check in half an ouhr, check out 1 ouhr.
