there is nothing good about this place
very dirty, the hotel is in total decay the best way to describe the food was garbage ac did not work it was a nightmare begining in the front desk the place was dirty it looks like an abandoned place do your self a faver and book somewhere else
Truth of the matter is you get what you pay for, but this exceeded it. It was a good place to stay and the employees met and surpassed expectations, they are very attentive at all times. I went for a sum of 4 days and three nights and I had to return because the vibe is so welcoming when there and its an easy place to get around. To get more of a better feeling of the hotel, I would recommend going during the week there is not as much people.
The odd smell from the water when you bathe. Also, the amount of sellers while at the beach which are constantly trying to sell you something. The amount of uneducated, loud/ rowdy people that are there on weekends makes it uncomfortable for you to try and relax.
The personal from reception & check-in was very polite and professional. I appreciate the administration to send a letter of welcome together with the "welcome" package (rum and fruits) The room was very spacious and and well equipped.
Of course, everything could be improved, anytime. The ventilation system can be improved for removing the slight odor of aged. Also, the ambulant vendors can become annoying.
we enjoyed this hotel and beach. but at the checkout time only 2 staffs were working, in spite of on Sunday morning! there were so many people waiting...I, have been waiting for almost 1hour! that was terrible. And more, after checked out, the staff said nothing. even "thank you", nor "have a nice day". They have on hospitality.
there is, or at least was a bit to do without leaving the resort. tennis, pool table,mini golf and nightly shows, although a lot is unmaintained, outdated and the whole place could use an overhaul. staff is friendly and helpful when possible until checkout time, then its business only.
theres not too much to do in Juan dolio once you leave the resort, a lot of the staff isnt english speaking, and once your out of the parking lot your more than likely to be hit up for money by locals which can he a little uneasy, and discourages exploring. "wifi included" is 10$ a day extra for a single password and if your staying with kids or a wife, its one per person. even a small family can rack up a bill fast.

Everything . Beach, location, food, personnal. But roooms are inferno.
The rooms ..all of them are noisy and the worst of it. Totally humid. All clouth bed , towell all is humid. For me imposible to slep. Ill never be back.

The water in the room had a really annoying smell. The room wasn't in very good condition as far as cleanliness, bed comfort and furniture maintenance. Reception was undermanned.
The entertainment staff and other staff were helpful and friendly.
The resort is in poor condition and needs some serious renovations we got an awful room with brown stuff leaking from under the sink, peeling paint, a missing hair dryer, and dirty rusted lamps. My brother's room did not close and the guy at the front desk just recommended that he push it harder.
Short distance from the city
The staff doesn't make you fell like they need you,registration is chaotic , and disorganized,workers at dinners areas work like slaves,beaches are not to standard of resort, and willd you are tringhn to relax at the sun the constant bader of beach merchant make you fell unsecured and treatened . your abusive and cohersive charge of us. $ 10 a day for and interned connection, is very ridiculed

The service and especially supervisor in reception is an unprofessional disaster, who has an attitude problem. The rooms are smelling, unpleasant experience. The a la carte restaurant can not meet promises being provided to a customer earlier-menu lacks given content. Concierge needs to understand that she is easily replacable- she has an attitude problem as well.
the customer service was terrible,rooms dirty. my phone was not working ,the lights in bathroom not working.food awful.staff unfriendly.i stayed there 2 years age ,it has gone downhill.i will never return again!
