Room space. Nice balcony. Fridge with soda, beer & water. Variety of food & beverages. Nice beach & pool areas. Great shows. Majority of personnel friendly. Beautiful gardens.
Another couple came into my room with the same room number. Door did not have inside lock. You have to beg for room to be clean, beds to be fix & for clean towels. Toilet water tank had problems to fill up. Uncomfortable pillows. Poor a/c functioning.
The Restaraunt (actually not associated with the hotel anymore) Pelican. THE REST WAS GARBAGE
This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I went to the Dominican for a Wedding, I stayed at two other hotels and they were awesome. This hotel was the most expensive one. We got to the hotel a little before 1 and waited in the lobby with 100 people and no one would help us, we finally get to the front and they guy goes " I'm not helping go away", he really said that. Finally we get help and they send us to the other side of the hotel. We wait there for a while and we go to check in and they tell us check in is not until 3 but we could pay and everything and then just get out key at 3. We do that, they put our luggage in a closet, we go to the beach, it was dirty and we just got hounded by vendors. We go to the desk a little before three and it was a mad house. No one would help you, no one would give you a room. We had to be at a wedding at 415, the wedding was at the restaurant there but the ceremony was at a church. The aunt of the bride who was doing a reading, was unable to get her room, and it was now 345. I had to change in the female bathroom in the lobby of this dirty hotel with my fiancé and another women. I was unable to shower or shave or anything for the wedding. We go to the wedding and come back to the hotel for the reception, and I had to take time out of that to go get our room. I finally get it, its on the other side of the "resort" if you can call it that. There was no bell boy, no carts, I had to lug all of our luggage across the resort to finally get to a room that was not as advertised. It was so gross we put clothes on the bed before going to sleep so we didn't have to sleep on the sheets. The A.C did not work. It was the worst hotel I have ever been to. They would not give us a manager, I called booking.com and they reached out to them with no avail. I would not stay at this hotel if you paid me. All the pictures are deceiving. Trust me!
This was the worst hotel ever. From Check-In to Check-Out. I was there for a wedding and tried to check in at 1. Stood in line for 1 1/2 hours. I was told I could not get my room until 3. The wedding was t 4:30 and they assured me I could have my room by 3. At 2:30 I was back in line to get my key. I got to the desk by 3 and was told my room would be ready at 4. I asked for another room and said I needed it immediately as I needed to get ready. The staff was indifferent. I ended up getting ready in the bathroom of the lobby. I tried to get my key after the wedding and was told my room was still not ready. I never did get my key and ended up sleeping on the beach. I tried to get a refund and the staff was not helpful at all the manager walked away. I was able to use another wedding guests room to shower and it was the worst room ever. The air conditioner did not work, the room was filthy, the door did not lock. DO NOT waste your money. This by far was the worst place I have ever seen.
Very Poor and The facility was no clean and the room that their give us the bed having blood stain. We just live the facility and we request our cash money back $208.00
The customer service was good. Front desk and cafeteria.
I change room three times because the AC was not working. I could't find a room with one large i had to talk the first night with a room with two bed.
The only good thing about this hotel is its staff. Al around from security guard to bell boy to room attendants to waitress KUDOS
They put us in this stink/dirty room at first the toilet wasn't even flushing at all, the AC only blow cold at night and everything else was so dirty. The bed was so old and hard makes my back hurt kept me and my wife up all night.
No bathroom door.
It's part of be live hamaca hotel; can have access to the beach and use all of the facilities. Good buffet
- room not clean; shower doesn't work; poor services; not worth the money
The Animation staff and the evening entertainment - especially the dance group - they were so professional. Go to Boca Marina or Neptune restaurants which are steps away from the hotel - high standard of food and beautiful decor. Location of hotel is lovely.
Room was terrible, 1 sheet on bed, lumpy pillows, lights that didn't work, no door for toilet....you name it. Buffet restaurant food was awful - we ate out - see positive comments. Pelicano restaurant in the hotel cost extra which is fine but food quality low compared to external restaurants. This hotel needs re-investment and staff training...shame as it is in a nice location.
The food,restaurants,beach,gardens and the staff.
The first day in accomodations, but we improve it in the second one.
The employee did great
Food need to have more variable ..for breakfast they didn't have bacon ....seem like they were short of staff in different area ..at checkout I call twice for for someone to pick up the luggage at my room, no one show up..I went in person and still nothing..an older man help my wife with the luggage ..the place need more improving..it was my fourth or third time there n I think it used to be better..too much salesman trying to sell the suits ..the Internet for wifi too expensive..the reason I keep going there it's bec it's convenient bec it's near the airport and the beach..
Beach, restaurants, cafes
The staff at the reception steal money
my bathroom the beach
building old, staff rod having to pay for wife is free every where I will never visit again, I ASK FOR WATER VIW BACK OF THE BUILDING
room towels were not clean guest service some staff
The bread, it was fresh baked every day!
Everything else! The room was run down, there were no functional towel racks nor toilet paper holder. The room was full of mosquitoes. The sliding doors didn't slide, the windows would not close, there was only one glass for the two of us. This was our second bad experience at this hotel! Yes we are stupid to think it could ever change! We will never go there again! Fortunately we only lived 40 minutes from the hotel so we drove back and forth so we could sleep in our clean, comfortable apartment in Santo Domingo. I pity those who came from out side the country and they were stuck in this dump with no other options. There was no mention the we had to pay extra for the "Gala new years eve BUFFET" please just don't go there!
Nothing cause the staff is totally ignorant and incompetent.
I had to leave after two hours of waiting in the reception because of incompetent staff in reception.
We had a room in Be Live Hamaca Garden. In the morning you can hear birds singing around, when you walk out of your room you really do feel like in a tropical paradise - palm trees everywhere, monoi trees with the most beautiful flowers you can pick up on your way to the breakfast. The dining room is in the middle of garden - an open space with a traditionally built roof. You have plenty food choices and endless combinations. All in all this resort gives all to feel safe and comfortable in place like Boca Chica, which is a bit challenging.
The staff, although generally very kind (like all people in Dominican Republic), are really unmotivated. There were only a few of them out of 100 we met everyday that were really professional and up to doing their work with enthusiasm. Place Boca Chica is famous for prostitution and other businesses attached to it, so forget about going out of resort. There were a few older male guests that were having those ladies to stay in the hotel with them for a few days, so you would see them among guests on the beach with all-inclusive bracelets. We didn't really care, but if you are on the vacation with your children, this might become an unpleasant detail.
the staff was nice.
the internet was terrible. i was in the executive suite and the wifi was extremely slow. this should be improved. have stayed at other resorts and the internet was much faster.
the location is great, if you do not wish to leave the premises
-outages all the time, especially water problems and at time electricity as well. -filthy pool (the larger one) -harrassment by timeshare vendors all the time (not good!!!) -I have stayed there before and I find that the choice of food is much less!!
The staff was accommodating and easy to talk with. Beach, beautiful (but what beach isn't?).
Food was bad, drinks watered down, rooms dirty, as was the water. And just outside the resort some of the locals (not all) were like zombies. Following around tourists trying to swindle cash, get food, etc. Very annoying and made venturing out a challenge.
It was a very uncomfortable experience. The front desk was very under-staffed, the entire staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The resort was not well kept, was dirty, we did not feel safe or secure, water leaked from the ceiling, the curtains were filthy. They were not organized and had no customer service skills. It was one of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel/resort. We would never recommend this facility and are disappointed that you would list it on your website.
Its close to Santo Domingo
Old. Dirty. Smelled of mould, poor service, plagued by salesmen, expensive, took no notice of booking requests.
I loved the beach, the security was good, pool
They need to put more garbage c, ans around the bech área, a wáter slide for the littler ones would be great, they should sugest tipping the waitresses and clean the pools with clorox, prostitution was to much specially when you travel with children
The hotel was nice and the price at the time I was there was great...
That there was no disco.... with free drinks..had to pay at the disco...
