Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.

This is a very safe feeling small village.
This is a very safe feeling small village. We never felt unsafe as we walked around during days or nights. The restaurants along the waterfront served great food at very reasonable prices. Most of the waitstaff do not speak English which made for a bit of fun. I highly recommend taking a full day trip to Saona Island if you are traveling to Bayahibe.

Pay attention to buy tours from seller on the road or from the massive tour agency! We totally reccomend you to have a look and book from the official website of bayahibe Village. Canto de la playa is the best!

Bayahíbe is an excellent place.
Bayahíbe is an excellent place. Nice view and it is closer from the SDQ airport than Punta Cana.
The beach was pretty safe and there is a lot of security staff all around the place. No problem with that.
The beach is not too salty, and the sand is clean and white. I really liked Bayahíbe.
There are many things to emphasize: the hotel is simply very nice and very clean, the service is excellent, they worried that our stay was the best. The breakfast was very balanced and delicious. Also very close to the beach and attractions. The bar TRIBE on the rooftop is amazing. Great vibes , good cocktails and cool people. I think it was the best accommodation I got in DR. If you want to visit Saona I totally suggest you to ask to Fabrizio and also if you want to have a trip he will give you the best tips!
This hotel was so lovely I am reticent to tell you all about it because I want to make sure there's room to come back! The pool is heavenly, the staff is so kind and helpful, and you're a short walk from the beach. Good wifi in our room and everything was clean and it great working order. We had a lovely stay and we can't wait to come back. We traveled with our two small children and the pool was perfect for them. There's a big shallow area where they could safely play. It's just beautiful here.
Super close to the city center, 5 min max walking distance. We spent 4 days with a friend to work remotely and the apartment was perfect, it had a sort of studio and plenty of space to work. Luca (the owner) was just amazing, super flexible with the timing, friendly and open to give suggestions of what to do and visit in the entire Dominican Republic. The price was also very good compared to other places in the area. Totally recommended.
When I returned to the room after my daily outings, I always found it impeccably clean, supplied with new beach and bath towels with my bed neatly made. It was conveniently located a short walk to beautiful beaches and a quaint town with great eating options featuring nice restaurants. The hotel had nice thoughtful touches like providing me with a nice beach bag and a complete full complimentary breakfast in a nearby local restaurant.
This hotel was out last stop in the country and we loved the big room with a large king size bed, a desk to work, AC, hot water and a fridge. Everything we needed. There's a common area as well which you could use to cook or in our case to work. I made yoga in the mornings on the roof top.
You've get breakfast in the morning included and we had a problem with our AC, so Danny and his staff helped us out directly.
The hotel is situated close to the center of Bayahibe village (cafes, restaurants) and not very far (1,2 km/15-20 minutes) from the Playa Publica Bayahibe. Do not mix it with Playa Bayahibe!!!! There is a bus stop (Parada Guaguas Bayahibe-La Romana / 100 pesos/person/one way) in front of the hotel. The hotel offers an acceptable quality for rooms and medium class services (but good WiFi).
I planed to stay with my Family for 1 day. Finally we extended for more days. The staf is really helpful. Helped to organize a trip to Saona island. Rooms are clean, with Wifi. Near to the hotel is beach with no waves, ideal for small kids. On the room there is LCD with Netflix. We enjoyed morning coffee. Some staff does not speak English, but has a big afford to help.
Great stay. Very nice hotel and great location in Dominicus. Rooms spacious, clean and well maintained. Miquel and Susana are very nice and great owners. They took care of everything and were helpful even while staying elsewhere. They provide shuttle service to/from the airport and have very good prices for trips to Saona Island.
I recommend it with all my heart!
The apartment is as shown in the pictures. It’s clean, modern and well equipped. I stayed with my family one night and it was the best decision. The host gave us some tips to get to know the area and even helped to get a deal to go to Saona Island. If staying in Bayahibe, don’t forget to visit Dominicus public beach, a blue flag beach only 10-15 mins by car.
The location is stated incorrectly as it is not in Bayahibe, but Dominicus - a more expensive part of the island. The hotel is close to the beach and right by the main road with access to gua guas (buses) which can take you directly to Bayahibe and La Romana. The breakfast menu had extremely limited options with small portions for the price paid.
I had an amazing stay at this magical place! It is international and cool vibes. They support international exchange programs , workawayer and volunteer so you will have opportunity to meet people from all around the world. I really liked my room and the best of is the Tribe rooftop. If you go to Bayahibe you must visit this place.
The hotel was very centrally located you can get everywhere you need to go. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is a nice rooftop with a view, pool and iguanas. There was also drinking water available on every floor. The room was great and the included breakfast was nice as well.
Amazing resort, room big and super clean. The beach is one of the best of my life (no seaweed). You can always find place at the beach, but it is better not to arrive too late. This hotel and Bayahibe in general are absolutely recommended.
Was good but the name of the hotel is different than the is on the Expedia reservation and we had hard time to found out the location Nobody know the hotel by how on the Expedia showing the hotel name.
I had an amazing stay! The place is super cool! Great breakfast, helpful staff, great service! The hotel is managed by an international staff. The rooftop is unique! Best of Bayahibe
