Hotel Casa Valeria  

I loved Hotel Valeria. It was such a cute little hotel and the staff was so friendly! The owners were so accommodating. Anything I needed I got from the front desk without a protest from the owner or any mean looks. I would highly recommend it and look forward to staying here once again. There is also a beach (or 2 we were told) nearby as well as small shops, which look very fun. I felt very safe in the hotel, and we even left our car parked on the street overnight and it was completely fine. The hotel has a watchman at night and he guards the hotel and our cars.

There may or may not have been prostitution or some sort of escort dating going on... it didn't bother me. It just took some getting used to.

First, I want to say Arien, Diana were really nice, Arien Helped us a lot and was very accomodating and friendly. The girls are the restaurant Roxy and Jen, were sweet and very nice. The housekeepers always had a friendly smile and did a very nice job. The place is located about 5 minutes walk from one of the nicest beach ever, Beach Sosua, and about 3 blocks from a smaller beach. The hotel has nice foliage and flowers, very pretty. The grounds are kept clean and the pool as well. This is by no means a luxury place, it is modest. The food at the restaurant is excellent, and prices are good. You can go just a few doors down for breakfast at Rockys, nice place.

Things that could improve, we stayed in room 3, the tv was very small, we are talking about if any 14 inches and located high up the wall, my neck was stiffed from just looking at it, the room can use a couple of chairs to sit down, and towels. We kept getting only one single towel but there were two of us in the room. Prostitution is an ongoing issue in the Sosua area, I guess due to being a very poor country. I would not recomend the area to families with small children. We personally did not feel safe walking around at night so we stayed in, during the day was fine. Be aware of the vendors they are constantly bugging you to buy stuff even on the beach and they can be a bit pushy and sometimes down right aggressive.

Staff is outstanding, place is nice and close to everything.

Overall there was Nothing that really bothered me I had a great time.

Restaurant....very slow service and the restaurant was empty. I ate breakfast there twice and dinner there once. Food was great by 45 minutes for breakfast is too much

Convenient site of hotel, good meal, very kindl and friendly collective of hotel. All my requests and wishes were carried out quickly and convenient time. In hotel soft and pleasant atmosphere of calmness. My personnel thanks to Arijen, Peter and Martin!

-Hyvä sijainti -Viihtyisä ympäristö,( pieni idyllinen) -Ystävällinen isäntäpariskunta ja hyvä ruoka (Ravintola erittäin viihtyisä ja romanttinen) - Koko henkilökunta ystävällistä ja palvelualtista

-Sijainnista(paikallinen liikenne) ja läheisestä hotellista johtuen kantautui jonkin verran ääniä joka voi häiritä joitakin" herkempiunisia" mutta meitä se ei häirinnyt, oli normaalia llomahulinaa...

le camere sono veramente indecenti, sono sporche e l'unica dotazione è un sapone ( niente shampoo niente fon ) sconsiglio questo hotel. ho cambiato hotel ( fortnatamante avevo prenotato solo per pochi giorni)

Reservamos una habitacion con vistas a la piscina y al llegar nos la cambiaron por otra debido a que la nuestra ya estaba ocupada por nuevos clientes. Ninguna facilidad de pago. Solo en efectivo y en la moneda que ellos decian.

Casa Valeria is a very special place. The owners have created a wonderful small hotel and have hired gifted, friendly employees that make you feel at home. Everything was great, and we hope to return soon.
