BelleVue Dominican Bay - All Inclusive  

Nice piece of property. The rooms are ok and clean but they could use a little renovation.

The beach is crowded with vendors and is accessible to anyone which makes it hard to relax. The system they use to calculate the minutes on phone calls made from the room over charges a lot.

no one greeted us upon arrival.Lobby was packed with people trying to check in. Check in is at three but when taken to pur room at three thirty maid was still cleaning. She had a pile of dirty linen on the corridor outside our room. The safe in the room was broken amd old. There eas mo bolt on the inside of the door.The front desk staff wioukd not look up from their computer when you approached. Children's pool full of leaves, play area drab. Buffet got really nasty at hibiscus as the evenung went by no one seemes to be cleaning it.

Convenience of all in one meals, drinks

Has more to do with the hotel practice of packages over the weekend. Place becomes a zoo. Food runs out in the cafeteria, pool is a mess. Didn't swim in it at all - filthy and gross. Often times water coolers ran out in multiple buildings and couldn't get water. my room was very nice. probably the nicest of all the people i stayed with. most of my group had toilets that would not flush, air conditioners that did not work, TV's that did not work, refrigerators that did not work or were not in the room. room updating is seriously needed in rooms. beer was often stale, except near the little pool. probably because it got the most action at night! wifi sucked! serious upgrade required - should consider wifi for the rooms and not just the lobby. worker s were great!

Landscaping

Poorly managed resort. Not suitable for non-Dominican travelers. Even with credit card on file, they asked $10 deposit for TV remote control- Never heard of anywhere else. TV was the size of my laptop and very old. Room was poorly maintained and dated. Hotel manager was not interested in my complain, because he (or she) never showed up after I asked to speak to him 3 times. It is all inclusive, but the food was terrible. Poor slection and not tasty at all. I will never come back. I suggest you go somewhere else too.

The food selection was fair; but, lacked the variety you would expect for a Resort facility. the liquor selection was poor, and I thought the hours could be more flexible. There were sales people hanging around all the time; trying to interest you in buying "Time-Share" Vacation packages. I thought this was a little overwhelming. You listen to all the talk about your next vacation; Then they show you this very luxurious room you could have. When I'm wondering why i didn't see this room in the advertizement. Because had I saw one like that. I would have been ready to get one like that. Even if the cost was more. My room had a small Tv, no remote, poor quality viewing with the very small screen. Beds were too hard, Towel service, on a daily basis was poor. Bath towels but, no hand towels.

Close to santo domingo, good deal to Enjoy sea on thé morning and spend an afternoon in thé colonial area of santo.

Thé quality and diversity of Food was poor.

I enjoyed how friendly and accomodating the staff were. The food was pretty good, although some foods were bland which was to be expected. The servers were polite and friendly and always getting you what you need. The rooms were clean and was a great place to stay. I had an amazing time there and I would definately go back there.

Only thing is that the beds are a bit hard and the pillows are not so great. Other than that the place was great.

My husband and I are in the dr. Working for the winter, we had some time off around the Easter weekend and thought we would get away to an all inclusive resort. We chose the Dominican Bay mainly because of the price. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the resort, the grounds were beautiful and the staff very pleasant.

The food was somewhat repetetive, the hydro kept going out and we were not given enough towels in our room.

The stay was great, I would stay again.

I thought i register my 3 year old with the booking, but I was charge $1,000 pesos extra.

I liked the pool and grounds. The drink cabanas round the clock. And a variety of food. Relaxing. Helpful staff.

All the furniture needs updating and repainting in roo. Needs hot water. New p Pillows and remote control and washcloths.

Todo. No tienen Frigobar en el dormitorio, pero si habia una cucaracha. El baño no tenia secador a pesar que era algo que ofrecieron. La television mas vieja que yo y para tener control hay que hacer un deposito de u$s 10. El personal maleducado, la comida horrible. Conclusión realmente malo.

Las habitaciones no estan muy bien, deben de pintarlas darles mas vida, cambiar cotinas, pues entra mucha luz, cambiar almohadas, poner un poco mas de colorido y poner mas gel y shampooo, tambien las bebidas ya hasta los basos son muy pequeños!!

De la comida no había mucho para escojer y en mi estadía no pude comer fruta porque se terminaba y no volvían a poner

fue mi 3ra visita pero esta ultima ves note que ya no era como antes ya no tienen el servicio ni la calidad parece que no le interesa mucho a la administracion competir y ser de los mejores
