Breakfast nice (eggs and meat available by request) area safe, good amenities just need some refinement. Good location for historical sites, shopping, resturants, nightclubs. very central to other sites of Santo Domingo. Pool and jacuzzi very nice. The mattress on beds have to go...if owner really wants to attract more return and word of mouth guests, he should at least begin to replace those uncomfortable mattresses one at a time! |

The Antoinette room had an adjoining bathroom. The atmosphere is relaxed, pleasant, festive and conducive to my needs. The area is safe, 1600's, and you can walk all around the Zona Colonial as a museum. This is a good hotel to meet any and possibly all of my needs. The breakfasts were wonderful. There are a lot of sights all around this hotel and I traveled everywhere by foot, day and night amongst the pleasant people. The hotel has a great atmosphere that is safe and secure (with an in room safe); there is always someone ready to assist and keep an eye on the quadrangle of rooms in the pool area. There is a third floor with some seats, a jaccuzi that I noticed a couple of days into my stay. There is a cat for upstairs and one for the third floor that you might see. LuLu is a quiet friendly dog that relaxes out of the way and occasionally raises it's head when it is receptive for attention. Nice place and a fine choice to the best of my knowledge when compared to everything else around the area. Natural health food store, go left out of the hotel and take your first R for one block and you are there (meals, juices, nuts, snacks). Five days were fine. Great value for the money. Tom The online review stated you may be charged for a guest and the in hotel contract said that you will be charged for a guest; I did not bring any guests to the hotel ($20). (I always sign my name anonymous to these reviews as I am only given one other option that does not suit me.) |

Read the reviews as they have been accurate for my decisions to book here. The staff will do whatever they can to make your stay work well. The small in room safe worked well. The room and bed were comfortable and the breakfast was great. You are surrounded by the 1600's architecture throughout the Zona Colonial. Festive, pleasant people and nice restaurants, bars and lots to see abound. |

Staff was friendly and breakfast was good with fresh fruits every morning. We had to leave one day ealier and staff was very understanding about it. Good hotel. My room (close to the pool) had wooden stairs to the upper lever where the bed was, stairs very difficult to climb and even dangerous for a young couple, so I would not recommend it for children or older people. |

La ubicación está muy bien en la zona colonial. Está limpio. El desayuno está muy bien. Tienen algunas habitaciones pésimas (sin puerta en el cuarto de baño, por ejemplo). Es una lotería y te puede tocar por el mismo precio una normal o una horrible. La organización es pésima y te dicen que tienen sitio cuando en realidad no lo tienen y meten colchones para que la gente quepa, sobreocupando todo el hotel (que más bien es hostal). La piscina es mínima, nada que ver con las fotos. En definitiva, es cuestión de suerte, si la tienes está bien, si no, está muy mal. No recomiendo arriesgarse. |

O hotel está bem localizdo no centro histórico de Santo Domingo, porém peca pela falta de limpeza. Fui obrigado a exigir a troca dos lençóis pois os mesmos estavam sujos e com aspecto de usados Limpeza pricipalmente. O banheiro não tinha porta e sim uma cortina de plástico que o separava da sala |

As fotos do hotel parecem de acomodações muito boas, mas é um quarto super apertado, muitissimo simples, com pouca higienização. Além disso tem cachorros e gatos que ficam andando por todo o hotel inclusive tem acesso à cozinha que é aberta a todos, e os animais estão muito sujos. A área ao redor à noite é muito escura, sem iluminação nas ruas dá um pouco de insegurança andar nas redondezas. |
