Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa - All Inclusive  

The resort is located on a nice beach. It is quite well maintained. The rooms were clean, though a bit worn out and not decorated to my likings, but that didn´t really matter. Our room, and it seems every room had a balcony (or a little terrace). There are many pools with a drink bar and towel service by every one of them. There is also a newly renovated spa with some pools. The water in them was a bit too cool for my liking though. We didn´t test the spa treatments. The food was mediocre, but mainly edible. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. There is a small cart and a train on wheels driving around the area and taking you around the resort where you want to go, so even if you have some problems with walking, it will be ok to move around the resort fairly easily.

The beds in our room were uncomfortable. The bath tub in the room did not work properly. The other television was working, but kept a high pitched noise. The other tv did not work at all. The pool areas are noisy with the activity staff shouting on the microphones a lot. If this is what you like, playing frisbee, darts and water games, while someone is shouting and playing loud music, this is the place to be. If you prefer peace and quiet, I should recommend on sellecting the adults only Grand Palladium Torquesa, which is part of the same huge resort area. You won´t be allowed to their pool if you are a guest at other Palladium hotel in the same resort. All the other pools though are available for every guest. The staff was mainly tacky and sometimes even rude. They would comment a lot on our appearances (I have a really white skin and my BF has a lot of tattoos). One of the pool boys pinched several times my bf and he also said he needs a knife to stabb him... A moment to remeber. When you go to the beach, the staff of different activities will come to talk to you constantly trying to get you to go on boat trips, banana boats, and so on. So there is a lot to do, if you stay longer, but it is also a bit annoying, when you can not have any peace from them. Some of them get offended, if you ask them to leave. The staff at reception gave wrong information about dinner reservations and that lead us to waisting half an hour of our only one day stay at the hotel waiting for a restaurant to take our dinner reservation. We ate at the Japanese restaurant. The food was edible, but so far of all the Japanese food I have ever eaten, this must have been the worst (lost even for the frozen sushi from super market). The dining room had really bad acoustic and the chefs shouting and making the people shout etc. with them made it impossible to have any conversation what so ever, even though we had our own table by the window.

To clean the room at reasonable period of time you have to demand it, to change clean towes you need to demand them, beach towels open only at 8:30am, ice making machines do nor produce ice, waxing in the spa is outdated, no anti cellulite treatment, wifi is simply a declaration free or paid - the speed is so low you cannot have excel or adobe files open, downloading something takes hours There are no snacks available during the day at all there is no imported drinks at all even for the money at the bars rooms are in very bad condition

Impresionante lugar. Playa de agua transparente y arena blanca. Instalaciones modernas y amplias. Grandes y muy cuidados jardines. Comida y bebida buffet y con restaurantes temáticos. Cuatro hoteles que comparten todas sus instalaciones, es una especie de "pueblito" que tiene un montón de lugares impresionantes. Todo está bien pensado para pasarla excelente. La verdad vuelvo dentro de poco.

Algo muy normal para los lugares turísticos como estos pero que en un lugar de este nivel tendría que estar un poco más controlado es el reiterado y molesto ofrecimiento de los vendedores de todo tipo de servicios y productos.

Die Zimmer und das Hotel incl. Strand insgesamt waren sehr sauber! Das Essen ausgezeichnet und vielfältig!

Das Luxus Doppelzimmer war bettenmäßig zu eng für zwei Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern (7 u 10 Jahre). Wir mussten die Betten zusammenschieben und die Badewannenumrandung als Bett mit nutzen :-( Das Service-Personal war teilweise unfreundlich und uninteressiert/gelangweilt! Es gab keinen Sekt, nur in der italienischen Bar....
