Very friendly and English-speaking personal Clean rooms, new bathroom, free breakfast, wifi for free. Such good rooms you mostly find at 4 star hotels - but not in a hostel! It was amazing! Thank you very much for a great stay
Wifi a bit weak in the room, but outside on the couch it was fine
English speaking front desk personnel
My breakfast ,where i ordered hard boil eggs was not prepared to a standard. It seems it was cook on a Microwavel caused the taste was not of a boiled egg in water. Check it out.
1) Convenient location for both historical center and shopping/entertainment/etc. 2) Reasonable pricing. 3) Friendly & helpful staff, plus everyone we met spoke decent English.
Shower appeared to be somewhat shabby: some bits were broken, tuning water temperature was not easy.
I did not like that the housekeeping staff does not remove the sheets daily from the beds. And also the do not clean the bathrooms good. The sheets were smelling bad
Clean; courteous helpful staff; air conditioning; simple but pleasant cafe; flat screen TV with cable channels; good shower in room; comfortable bed; decent value for the price; well maintained; has security guard
small room, somewhat noisy in hallway until later at night than I preferred; 10+ blocks to metro station
The hospitality was wonderful, the room was very nice and clean, it was located near good restaurants and views. I would stay here again. And recomend it as well.
On a few nights it was noisy, but it was all.
Location close to the Malecon and the colonial quarter. Friendly staff.
Incredibly slow breakfast service in spite of plenty of restaurant staff and few clients. Many moskitos in the ground floor.
The prostitues roaming around the front entrance of the hotel.
Where do we begin.. The stinky pillows, the ac that did not work in 100 deg heat, wifi only worked in hallway, website states that there is a shuttle bus from the airport, which there is not. After travelling for 2 days and arriving to the hotel where we were unable to even have a decent shower was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
I just stayed there one night and it was great. It's maybe the most comfortable place compared to the price and other hotels located close to it. The staff is always able to help and answer your questions. The rooms are pretty nice, and provide everything that you will need incluiding a safety deposit box. It's a modern place and secured. The only way to get into the room is by using an electronic card for the door. Miguel, the taxi, is a very nice person and sympathic.
It would have been nicer to be located closer to the town but not a big deal. Also, it would be good to put a door in the shower to avoid causing an accident with the water flowing to outside.
great small but cute and clean close to eating dinning,, very good recomended
Location is excellent, close to every where you want to go.
Was very private, good security and rooms in good condition.
Room was in 3 rd floor no elevator within the hotel. Poor AC and small bed. They call queen size bed to a full bed.
they arent ascentor....
Cafeteria is awful. Lousy service, medieocre food.
This property greatly exceeded my expectations. It was located near the old colonial section which was easy to walk or to take public transportation. The neighborhood felt safe and there was a nice bakery nearby to buy baked goods and have meals. The staff went out of their way to help out when a family crisis occurred at home. I can't say enough good about the staff. They were fantastic.
How much it cost to get there by taxi from the airport. But that would be the same for any hotel in Santo Domingo so it is not exclusive for this hotel.
I like the location, the staff was very helpful. Very good choice for the value of money.Hotel was very clean but I give a fair rating on cleanliness because when I checked in my room it was not clean up to my standards but the staff took care of that immediately. I look forward to staying in this hotel again and again.
Beautiful interior., enough space in the rooms., great service., staff speaks couple of languages...
Rooms on the street side are noisy
Location close to seafront and big hotels. Easy access to old city. Bright clean modern hotel with good ac and flat screen tv with good international cable selection. Nice small coffee shop with tasty snack menu and bar service at very fair prices.
Room 105 cramped for two, just ok for one. Nearby rooster starts singing at 4.30 a m. Hotel back up generator right behind room and extremely loud. A soundproof housing urgently required. Only 2 very thin pillows provided.
Good location (quiet and close to everything) and units clean.
They accused me of drinking a bottle of apple juice from the minibar that I did not. It was only 60 pesos, so I just paid it any how; but this left me feeling taken advantage of. My advice is to force them to take inventory of bar before you enter.
