(1) It's very well located for 4 things: going for a walk on the beach, driving short distance to a really nice area with beautiful restaurants, minimarket, a great italian family style restaurant in a walking distance, and to a french cafeteria, and easy to get on the road to sightseeing places (Limón, Playa Morón, etc.). (2) The person who received us at checkin (3) The pool is great (4) Being in front of the beach (even when that part of the beach is not where you'd swim) (5) The apartment was spacious enough (6) The parking (7) The choice of the restaurant (we didn't use it, though)
Breakfast The fridge in the kitchen smelled not so good
Had never been to this part of the Dominican Republic before and glad we stayed here. Quite, clean and the staff was great. right across from the beach and just a short walk to town. couldn't have asked for much more other than a few more days there.
The staff and location are excellent.
It is a little dated, and wifi is slow (it is slow everywhere in this area). If you are not on the top floor, you hear every noise from the guests above you.
La dolce vita is indeed dolce vita. Very nice hotel for the money and the service is great. Breakfast is brought to your room in the morning, all you have to do is go to the front desk and ask for it. They have a very good restaurant right on the hotel premise. My wife had an awesome grill steak that could rival anything a 5 star eatery had to offer. I would recommend the dolce vita to all my family and friends.
The Staff was very helpful
Location, AC, Internet connection, beach towels provided, breakfast (although poor) brought to your terrace timely.
Very Poor breakfast. In a country with so much fruit, some fresh fruit or fresh squeezed juice should not be difficult to come by. No bottles of drinking water (only a pitcher) I had to request some. Very beat up refrigerator. Only 2 towels in bathroom.
The staff is friendly and works hard to meet your needs. I loved the facilities and proximity to the beach- perfect view.
My biggest complaint is the lack of available towels. I couldn't believe that we were given 2 towels for a family of 3- poor supply, even when I asked for additional towels they didn't have any available.
what i like is the beach is accross the street, everything is near to it. beds are comfy , bathroom and room are clean, i seen everyroom has a kitchen with plates, cup glasses fridge so you can buy your own groceries to cook there. has hot water for showering. the breakfast they take it to your room around 8:30 - 9:30am if not go to the reception ask for your bfast i recommend this hotel to anyone
i say for the price $85 dollars it should have buffet breakfast.
Loved the property and the room design was different but not in a bad way. Felt like having a small apartment. Grounds were beautiful!!
When we arrived to check in the Italian gentleman working the front desk treated me as though I had done something horrible to him. Only after his boss talked to him did his attitude change. The Dominican staff however where absolutely Wonderful!
Very good residence just opposite the beach, clean and comfortable room, very good restaurant.
Right on the beach, close to town and restaurants. Great restaurant on the property. Very nice pool. Had a bedroom and separate kitchenette. All in all I'd go back there again.
Really there wasn't anything we could say we didn't like.
The location is fabulous. Our favorite thing was the large terrace with the outdoor living space and table. We could sit outside and relax and still view the water.
We stayed two different nights, first when we arrived and also on our last night. We were happy to return and would stay again now that we know our way around. The rooms were very clean, neat and comfortable. Close to everything. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The beach and the ocean were right across the street. The pictures don't lie, it is as you see it - very cute.
Directions are more difficult than the islanders think especially when no one speaks English. When we found English speaking people we had no problem finding it. The family on the floor above us had screaming (no joke - screaming!) children to the point they seemed insane. They seem like tenants versus guests because they were there both times we stayed.
The apartment was spacious and clean. They bring you your breakfast to your room which is nice since the kids don't have to wait at the restaurant. The staff was really caring and bringing us towels when we were at the pool without we ask for it.
Top spot for short or long vacation! Big, nice looking, clean appartment. directly at the beach ( not private though as mentioned )
The only thing I can mention is that the first two days nobody was able to speak English...
I thought that the accomadations were spacious and very satisfactory.
The kitchen needs upgrading. The refrigerator needs repair or replacement. The vent over the stove is a bit rough & some of the cabinets need work.
