The grounds were amazing. The staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and romantic. The property offered everything from shopping, food, casino, and a gym, a spa, & multiple bars.
I felt like the greeter was pressuring us to come to some meeting of some sort...maybe an attempt to lock us in to coming back. Not sure we didn't go. Everyday all day for 3 days she would show up and ask us about it. Arrrgh!! Food was like cruise line food. It was pretty but nothing special.
The property was amazing and very convenient for travelers. We thoroughly enjoyed the Royal Service and if we were to go back Royal Service is the way to go. Lots to do on the property.
The food was not very good. The best restaurant was Gabi Beach and the Palazzo. If you want delicious food be prepared to be open to options.
Customer Service Luxury/Nature
The entire trip was worth every penny we paid. The food was absolutely phenomenal with Lobsters bigger than the dinner plates. The hospitality was beyond compare and above reroach. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond...especially Juana at the front desk and Mr. Bruny the RCI Concierge. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and stress free vacation than here at the paradisis palma real...we enjoyed ourselves so much we actually purchased into Club Melia for future vacations.
Nothing...well the plane ride home with a screaming kid directly behind me...in first class I might add...

The location is great, Overall people were nice and smiley. Great beach and clean.
The room service was really not consistent... there was always something missing: no shower or cleaning product replaced, no refill in the fridge, one day back in my room at 5 it was not cleaned, no floor towel after the first day. The shuttle services are not well organized. The "yoga class" or "pilates" class are free and fun, but not run by a professionnal which could be expected in a 5+* hotel There is even a 7* michelin chef (which does not exist obviously). Weak service on the beach you d better count on yourself to do it Internet: the internet is not working proprely... and if it does...only on certain location... painful experience on this aspect... especially to keep in touch with your fellows. A little bit show off in the overall

This was a very easy vacation. We took a cab to the resort was greeted immediately and we checked into our rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet had many choices and was very good as were their signature restaurants. The beach was beautiful and clean and always a place to sit. We did upgrade to the Royal Service and found it was worth the upgrade for my family.
I didnot like the push for attending their timeshare program. If people are interested just leave an information packet in their rooms. It would have been helpful to have information as to what is included in your inclusive package. It was very confusing at first ex. what restaurants,drinks,watersports are covered in the package you bought.
1)great food,every day there is smth different and always fresh 2) spacious rooms 3)private beach territory is quite nice 4)staff generaly is very friendly,except for some Royal service reception people.
1) Royal Service gives you nothing more than a bit more privacy 2)nothing works without tips!!everyone expects it,beach boys,barmen,waiters etc which is not how it should be in all inclusive hotel. they stop smiling at you and saying hi,once they realise there will be no tips.so don`t wait for them to offer you any drinks at the beach,unless you tip them for every banana mama.they would just ignore you 3)upon arrival we were given a room far away from the ocean,and the so called ocean view had nothing more than pool view and palms.we asked to change the rooms,and were told that everyting is booked for other guests,eventhough the hotel remained half booked during our whole stay. it took as 3 days to sort out the situation and get the rooms that we booked 4) they give you a perosnal butler,who does as minimum as possible.we felt like we were an obligation to him. 5)food at royal service restaurants is worse than in general buffet,less choice.
