Plaza Real Resort  

I liked that it had a restaurant downstairs, and if we didn't feel like cooking that evening, we could eat there and not have to drive anywhere else. The food is good, the prices are not outrageous and the restaurant staff is very nice. The Apartment is comfortable and I had a peek of the ocean from the Living Room. Even if the kitchen setting is very rustic and in terrible need of a facelift, it was nice to be able to cook and not have to drive after a long working day. The Hotel staff is helpfull and friendly. They do not clean your room on Sunday's nor change your towells, but the cleaning staff is very accommodating and polite.

We could only use the pool one day on the weekend because they close it at 6pm and by the time we got in from work it was too late. Maybe they should modify the rules and not allow visitors after 5pm. They should have a little more restricted use of the pool and computer area to only the people staying at the hotel. Maybe if they put a small price tag on the visitors using the pool, the men staying there would limit their visitors to the local female companion and not the entire family. Also, the construction infront of the Hotel is very disturbing. I know they can't do anything about it but it should be mentioned. The access to the beach is by a small tunel between the front buildings and it is closed at 6. The guards of the buildings will let you out but you can not get in. They have problems with their power plant and the power was out several times during the day. The stay was not extreemly bad, but you definetely get what you pay for. I would only recommend it for budget restricted people.

Nice, quiet and green setting between a bunch of dull appartments. The rooms are pretty big, with balcony. The beach is on the other side of the street, but you'll have to pass an alley that closes at 6. What the hell?! Nice and cheap restaurants nearby. Santo Domingo is not too far away.

My reservation from booking.com wasn't registered?! Fortunately it was the low season so we got a different room but Booking.com need to check this. The walls are very thin. VERY thin. The nights are so quiet during the week that you wake up every time there is an alarm in the streets. It's pretty far from everything so you'll need a car. You'll need to park your car in the street.

This is a poor excuse of a hotel... Do not eat the food,it is of very poor quality and poor preparation... If you are looking for a prostitute there are plenty lurking around in the bushes... Safe in room did not work.I Paid for 3 days and left after 9 hours....the constuction noise was never explained..the tv did not work... I am sorry to write a sad story as a local said I should try your property.... All I can really say is "I will never Return".... Get your act together~. Clark

C'était un endroit tranquille. Très contente qu'il y ait eu la piscine et le petit bistrot adjacent. On y mangeait bien le service était excellent (ne fait pas partie de notre hôtel mais accès)

Mauvais entretien des lieux.... Exemple:taches de peinture par terre pôles à rideau fait bric-à-bras, etc. Propreté très très moyenne. (Murs, douche, entretien de la robinetterie) Il y avait le strict nécessaire pour l'équipement de la cuisine, il fallait demandé chaque chose au lieu de l'équiper au minimum... Il a même fallut demander des ustensiles, chaudon, couteau à découper. Même pas une poêle à frire. La réceptionniste n'avait aucun sourire, nous avions l'air de la déranger à chaque demande. Avec un peu de réparation et un meilleur service, ensuite et seulement ensuite, je le recommanderait.

la habitación no tiene ventanas. la puerta es de vidrio traslúcido tapada con una cortina, en la recepción no siempre hay gente que atienda
