The owner was nice, the shower and the room were decent, location was good too. Enjoyed WiFi in the room.
Ooper was super friends and helmed us in any way, shew us good places to visit on the map and helped us to rent a car. Best you can get for this money.
Our room was a little bit small, pay some more euro and you get comfy and big rõõm and its definately worth the money.
Room was noisy because of noise of traffic on street
Florie and her husband were very nice. They made a special dinner for Christmas, and even made me a cake for my birthday! Florie gave me a personal tour of the town, advised me of the culture, and introduced me to people. Very hospitable.
- Florie confirmed several times that it was a quiet room. It was not! Sosua never sleeps, and all night long unmufflered motorcycles roared past my bedroom window (which I had to keep open since there was no air conditioning). I wore high caliber ear plugs and covered my head with pillows, yet I did not sleep a wink! - Upon arrival, I was charged an unexpected, additional 18%!! Florie claimed that it was a tax, but I was not charged this tax by any other places I stayed, which were registered hotels. - Make sure you bring your own soap and toilet paper.
Staff was really helpful and friendly. Spoke French/Spannish/English :) the location was good, walking distance to everything.
Lived next door to the owners room so felt like we needed to stay real quiet. Some ppl also might find it noisy outside, since the mainroad is 50m away. We didn't have any problem tho.

Very good staff. The place near everything you come here for. Beach, super market, bars, and resturant .i give this place 10 of 10 . Thank you everyone .
Alain and Florie are great. The house is really nice and well located. It is clean and confortable.
villa florie is one of the best place to stay in sosua, Dominican Republic.the staffs are excellent. the lady is always there to help her guests. village florie is a safe place to stay .I recommend anyone to choose villa florie as home for vacation.
The location is very good, close to the action but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle if needed. Our room was clean, and the shared bathroom was fine.
This is fairly standard for the Dominican Republic, but Villa Florie Guest House is on a busier road so expect lots of noise (especially late at night). The "communal kitchen for preparing cold meals" actually means that you are allowed to put a few things in the refrigerator. The WiFi in our room wasn't great, so don't expect to do anything online above and beyond checking email. Most of the above issues aren't a big deal, the main issue is that you have very little privacy while staying at Villa Florie. The hosts almost never leave the house, and you have to walk through their living room to get anywhere. They are pleasant, but are extremely particular with everything. We would lock our room when leaving, and on each occasion would return to find our room wide open. Finally, if you are thinking of staying here be sure to check the fine print as the taxes are not included in the "total price."
Florie is one great lady. The hospitality she given to me was superb. She is also very helpful with any information about the local area which was all new to me and fun.
This place is owned and well managed by a very friendly and cordial couple. I liked their personal interest and attention. You can feel like at home. They care about and relate with their guests. Helpful and understanding in many ways.... A very good place to stay and enjoy Sosua.
Located on a main street it can be a bit noisy at night due to motorcycle traffic. Shared bathroom for the upper two rooms.
Great location- everything you need in walking distance, including the beach (sosúa beach is great!) and supermarkets. If you're tired to walk, plenty of moto taxis available. I stayed in a guest room with a balcony. Very nice and comfortable, but can get loud from outside car and moto noise. Florie was very friendly and super helpful in giving directions and helping me get on a bus to Santiago on check out day. I would definitely stay here again. Great spot to experience Sosúa as the locals do, not detached as in a resort.
I only stayed one night because I had to travel further, but I enjoyed my stay there. I got some good hints where to go out, where to eat and even was helped with the bus connection and time schedule. Thank you, Florie!
Everything!!!! Alain and Florie are wondefull hosts! They will give you all the infos you need and by the way, they will also go out with you. Try Mamajuana, a very nice club :-). The location is perfect! Close to the center and the beach! You can do everything by foot!
Florie was a great host you may ask her everything you want shes allways an answer Nice clean appartement and very close to The mainstreet with shops bars restaurant beach and nightlife We were really satiesfied
From time to time a little bit noisy
The guesthouse is clean and the accommodations comfortable. The owners were incredibly helpful and were more than happy to arrange a cab to the airport for me. The balcony in the queen room is a great plus!
