Safe place, quiet neighborhood, very good breakfast, clean and relatively new( 2 years old).
Room had no windows, a little stuffy and damp but did have an air conditioner.
Staff were very friendly. Some didn't speak English but tried really hard to help me with my minimal spanish! The manager Johnny was awesome! Even gavel a ride to the bus station when I was leaving! Breakfast was very good and my room was super comfy! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Location is a bit away from main pier but it is literally a 6-7 minute walk to get there and you get to walk by the fish market which was really the highlight of my trip! Watching sealions and pelicans try to steal fish and scwabble over scraps was super entertaining and cute!!
The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. It was in good walking distance and felt secure. Wifi worked. There was air conditioning and hot water.
Our room had a window to the lobby and the staff, who seemed to be largely teenagers, enjoyed playing rock music during siesta, so naps were impossible; the lobby light shone in our window until 1 a.m. (filmy curtain did nothing to help). In all, it felt like we paid fancy hotel prices for a high-end backpacker hostel.
Room was clean and had obviously been done up recently.
Could hear people above - they appeared to drop a lot of stuff.
The hotel is quite new and very clean. All staff members were very helpful and nice. Tasty breakfast provided.
The location is not the best - there are hotels closer to the port and coast - however, the cost of taxi around the area is always just 1$, so it's not a big problem.
