Its location and the bilding
Not having windows in some rooms
The staff. Very nice
The bathroom door make a lot noise
The attentiveness of the personnel.
Lack of ready cash on hand. Failure to post CC charges on a daily basis. Preparation of breakfast should be more universal as to items served.
Room space little bit small. The hot&cold water was with low pressure. Renew towels
Modern restaurant with attentive staff and tasteful food. Second floor balcony had Colonial style furniture and decorations. Good price but I needed a quieter place to relax.
Bathroom was tiny. Hole/soft spot in floor. Bed plank fell out from under mattress and bed frame broke. Lots of noise from street and from halls. No elevator.
I like to play pool table with another people stay in hotel i had alot of fun and i sleeping very...good...jaja
Amazing rooms and interior design, welcome drink offered, good breakfast, great location, excellent price-quality ratio.
The place, the accesibility, the Breakfast, the bedroom
The price was more expensive than at first time in booking. I didn' t know that the price wasn' t with taxes.
All the employees went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. They met every one of our requests with a smile. Our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was large, tiled, had hot water always. Every day we were supplied with bottles of water, new towels, new soap, shampoo. The included breakfast was a full buffet and delicious. The hotel is located close to Parque Calderon, markets, and shops. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of service and accommodations we received.
We were on the third floor with NO elevator. It wouldn't have been too bad if not for the fact that I broke my ankle during an outing in the Cajas National Park on the third day of our 11-day stay. I couldn't walk up and down the stairs for meals, but the staff actually DELIVERED meals to me! Also, I suspect elevators are not that common in the historic district. The hotel building is old, charming, well-decorated but...the acoustics were not appropriate for a hotel. We could hear nearly everything happening on all three floors. To be fair, most of the guests were considerate and quiet. But, if you require complete silence, this is not the place for you. Finally, our bathtub was very slippery and did not have safety handles or working skid-free protection.
Staff friendly Location in the city center
Room with inner windows. Impossible use of the free Internet workstation for printing boarding card
It s pretty good for that price. The room was clean, good location, staff was helpful and everything was ok i would recomend this hotel for a quite travelers.
The restaurant was very good, the room quite comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent.
Wifi in the room was not very good.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant and bar. Good food.
Very noisy. Poor insulation. Echo chamber effect. Some public áreas shabby and rundown.
Large room, well equipped. Located near to city center, eating and shopping establishments.
Everything was excellent. Congratulations. I hope being there with my family and friends. See you soon!!!
no elevator and had to take luggage up 2 flights.
The staff were very friendly and helpful in spite of our inability to speak Spanish . Many members of the staff did speak very good English especially the hotel manager. They made a very favorable impression not only on their hotel but the people of Ecuador.
Strange Reception : the best (kind, competent) and the worse (arrogant, proud) according to the people of the staff Trouble with electricity, TV... Poor service and dark rooms Very expensive for the country and what it offers
Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, restaurant on site.
The staff advised me to take a minibus from a private company, Opera Azuay, to Guayaquil. This was a very bad trip as the driver went off the main road to avoid a police control. The road was unpaved and the driver did not know his way. He kept making phone calls and asking his way to people, for almost an hour. Don"t take this bus company.
The staff were always ready to help in every way. Hilda and Cesar were like family. The last day my husband was ill and they went out of their way to bring him tea and a tray for lunch. We shall miss everyone.
Clean and bright. Good location in the old part of town. Helpful staff. OK restaurant.
No elevator. A problem for us because my wife just had a hip replacement. We had to change rooms because an exotic shower valve didn't work.
good hotel, nice breakfast.
no parking, a little noisy if your room is close to the stairs
Shower is very old, head of shower is terrible, water is leaking , stopped working every day.
They treated me like family. Simply one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at for any price. Food, room, service, It could not have been better. The Duran family knows how to make a guest feel at home.
The room was impeccable. Large bathroom. Hot water. Very friendly staff. Good location. Hotel had a nice decor. Bed was comfortable. Hotel cleanliness.
Paper thin walls. Ridiculous charges for making local calls. Cheaper to just get a prepaid chip and buy time.
