Somewhat near to the airport, clean, good shower.

I would prefer the rooms to also have drawers, particularly for longer stays.

The room was terrible dirty and it smelled very bad. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom smelled horrible.

The staff was so helpful and very friendly.

Room 106 was poorly lit, very cool in temperature and extremely noisy with the construction that seemed to be just above my room. With the only window, I had a direct view into another room. With no privacy with the shade open, I kept it closed. This room is suited for travelers that are staying the night and not couples that are staying three days while visiting your lovely city.

The front desk staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Good service throughout, clean, and very comfortable.

Location, location, location. Liked the minimal decor. Good, attentive staff. Decent breakfast buffet.

Bath amenities were sorely lacking. Hotel, although relatively new is showing wear and tear already.

The WiFi Internet signal was so weak my computer would not receive it. It was critical for my stay and was unable to get important work done.

I was attending a 2.5 day conference in Quito and the hotel they had partnered with seemed to be priced a little high for the region. I poked around and selected the Hotel Finlandia from some reviews I had read and that I am of Finish decent. I had spent four days in Bogota with some friends prior to arriving in Quito. I had made arrangements for the Hotel to have someone pick me up at the airport. What was to have been a 1 hour and 40 minute flight from Bogota to Quito turned into a 6 hour nightmare. After multiple landing attempts and last minute aborts, we then flew to Mantra Ecuador and disembarked the plane even though they had no immigration or customs at that airport. We were sequestered in the terminal, they refueled the plane and we tried again with two more landing attempts and last minute aborts. Then circled the airport and finally landed around 1:00 am. The culprit was Fog. After processing through customs and Immigration much to my surprise there was an older gentlemen with big smile and a sign with my name on it. I was happy the Hotel did there job on this one. We then drug my luggage out of the airport and up this hill with what I would not really call sidewalk to an awaiting sedan parked off the premises. I was huffing and puffing from the 9350 ft altitude by the time we reached the car. We then drove to the hotel and I got checked in. That all went pretty smoothly and I got settled into a small room with no hvac or even a box of facial tissue. Finally got to sleep at 3:00 am. The next day I got up and had a nice breakfast in the hotel restaurant, typical South American Hotel Breakfast. And checked the place out a little. It turns out I was staying in an old section of the hotel. They have built a new hotel right next door and eight stories high. Different elevator and only accessible with card key access. Since I got such a good deal on my room I did not say anything, and except for the room being somewhat tired.

Everything was ok... Nothing to complaint

The staff went out of their way to help us.... Even ordered us Chinese food very late to make sure we ate! What a wonderful place to stay... Felt very safe and taken care of.... Called a taxi for me at 0530 the next morning.... Awesome people!

Location was good. Excellent breakfast buffet served each day icluded with room. Staff was good. Christian was excellent and very helpful.

New construction on hotel still ongoing and can be disruptive durung the day. Otherwise, no complaints,

Construction noise on one side of the building. First time we slept on noisy side. Second time we ask for other side and it was very peaceful.

One small thing to improve the hotel would be to have heavier curtains so as to block out the light, especially those rooms near the street.
