Score from 344 reviews Very good
The hotel is nice, the location is great and the price is right. I usually only stay one night at a time before or after flights.
My only complaint would be that the rooms are a little bland because there is nothing on the walls.
The location of the hotel is superb, in a quiet area, with plenty of transportation around it and places to go out for a meal or diversion. The room was totally clean with no flaws worth noting. Breakfast was not varied as higher rated hotels, but it was a buffet, and really suitable for the price.
Room was really small, with twin beds not being able to assemble, just like in other hotels, making it unsuitable for a couple. Bathroom was too small with objects being misplaced in some cases (toilet paper collided with toilet seat). Amenities were of average quality and there was not enough place to put personal items.
noise, room dark, careless of lights in the room, a lot were bad, the bathroom window was in front of a construction
The bathroom smelled. Room to the inner side was noisy. Breakfast was poor. Reception desk not very helpful.
The friendly staff is most accommodating. Our room was perfect and breakfast is exceptional. English is spoken and understood. Location is very good.
Very comfortable room. Modern decor. Good breakfast. Good location, close to shops, restaurants and a lovely park. Courteous and friendly staff. Hard to believe it is only 3 stars.
I liked it all.
Very clean and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was excellent with good food that was well prepared and presented.
Staff attention was good. Breakfast adequate and varied. fairly good disabled access, even thought the hotel does not claim to be accessible.
Some building noise next door. Had to ask to move room as my disabled friend could not get in the shower, and they charged us more for the second room.
Localization, facilitiy And confort!
Breakfast too poor, do not reflect food of the ecuador!
Very friendly and helpful personel that speak English. Nice central location.
A bit noisy due to its central location.
Expensive area of Quito to stay in. This was the best price I could find and FOR THE AREA it was a good value, great location, great staff, great breakfast.
Would have liked a bathtub option but otherwise I liked everything.
Clean and nice place
Service, location, rooms
a lot of noise during the day
Helpfulness of staff. Location near a large park.
buffet breakfast not always kept fully supplied. Noise from building site next door from 7am.
In new town. Close to Qui Centro mall. The room was large and comfortable. Lots of restaurants nearby. The food in the hotel restaurant was wonderful, at a reasonable price. Service from the staff was very good. Hotel stored our cold weather bags for us while we went to the Galapagos, even though we only stayed at the hotel 3 nights.
Laundry service was very expensive. Outside laundry is about $1/lb or less. Here they charged $3.50 for a T-shirt.
I asked for hair dryer I was told they didn't have one avail. the camarera got one from the storage. person from recept. very rude.also we like our eggs fried they expect us to pay 6 dollars por each of us we traveled all over the world never have this problem they please the passenger customer. this hotel is for people who goes for buss and go back to their town. period.
I was more than satisfied with the room decor and layout, the comfort of the bed, the helpfulness and consideration of the staff, and the meal selection in their on-site restaurant.
Even after running the hot water in the shower for 10 minutes, the water never was warmer than 33 degrees (Fahrenheit); I was lucky that the sink at least provided lukewarm water. (But it's Ecuador, where it's tough to find a hotel WITH hot water--or hot water that lasts long enough to rinse the shampoo out of your hair!)
Some of the clerks were very kind but others not so much. The room was clean and comfy
The shower on the 9th floor didn't have a constant temperature it would turn scalding hot one minute and get ice cold the next. Everytime I asked for clean towels I was asked to explain why I needed them. During my stay I never recieved a single smile from clerks, guards or room service. Frankly I am sorry I spent my vacations in this hotel.
Price was great and accommodation acceptable
Construction and noise nearby.
Restaurant downstairs, room has all the essentials you need as a business traveller. Front desk was helpfull
Room was a bit noisy in the morning
The hotel was very nice and modern. Had dinner at their restaurant and it was quite good. Appreciated the breakfast and free wi-fi. Would have been a great stay if not for the 'taxi' that the hotel arranged for us when heading for the airport!
The only thing we were not happy with happened the morning that we were leaving for the airport. We had asked the front desk person to arrange a taxi for 6am the next morning. The next morning we confirmed with the front desk that a taxi was on its way. Well, what arrived was a beat up grey car, not anything like the yellow taxis that we found at the airport. We asked the front desk whether the car was really a taxi and he assured us that it was. As it turned out, our 'taxi' had no seat belts, rattled and obviously needed a new muffler. The driver was driving very quickly, but we wouldn't know how fast because the speedometer was permanently set at 0. At one point the driver stopped the car at told us to wait while he got out and met a friend on the street to get a cd that he apparently had to play during our ride to the airport. This guy made us feel really uneasy and we were grateful to actually arrive at the airport safe and sound. Oh, by the way, he demanded to be paid more money than what we agreed on and from what the front desk told us it would cost. We are not unexperienced travellers and have travelled in many 'unusual' vehicles in our time, but this was the first time we felt uneasy. We figure that the front desk person simply called a 'buddy' instead of a real taxi to take us to the airport, the front desk person is probably making some extra money on the side! The car was unsafe and arranging this kind of transportation for hotel guests is unacceptable! We sent an email to the hotel complaining about this situation 2 weeks ago but have heard nothing back from them.
Nice location. Clean and comfortable.
Staff educated but not very communicative. I lost my IVA refund because they didn't give me a form needed to be attached to the invoice even tough I has asked about the procedure.
