The owner was very welcoming and helpful, great customer service. The room was spacious and very clean. Good location to explore the city and also Puerto Ayora. Would definitely stay there again!
This was by far our favorite hotel on the Galapagos Islands. The owner made us feel at home and was attentive to our every need. The rooms were lovely, spacious, clean and airy with a comfortable bed. Its location was not too far from the center of town. Breakfast was delicious with many options. To accommodate our early departure, she got up early to fix us breakfast and arranged for a taxi to pick us up. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay there longer.
Owner Joseline is the best. One can tell she cares for each guest, delicious breakfast, arrangement of taxis and boat tours (plan early to avoid disappointment).
The location is convenient to get around the town. The quiet spacious room we had on the top floor. The friendliness of the owner.
The value for money. The breakfast was basic.
extremely clean. Provided bottled water to refill water bottles. Just 2 blocks from the main street and we never had to take a taxi. Quiet and very safe.
Very friendly and helpful owner. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the clothesline and the small veranda off the room.
No clock in the room. Breakfast somewhat spartan, compared to breakfasts in Quito and Guayaquil hotels.
Galapagos suites is an excellent place to stay while in Puerto ayora, we loved it here. The owner Joseline is lovely and extremely helpful. The rooms are bright and spacious and extremely clean. Breakfast is also very very good. Location is excellent with only a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants.
Staff! Joseline is a great host. She helped us to organize day trips and gave many good advises. Hotel has very nice, clean rooms with AC. Hotel is located a short walk from the city center and many restaurants.WiFi is good.
Great Hotel!! Very friendly staff, welcome flower heart on your bed with a bottle of wine, very good and tasty breakfast with homemade cakes, good and calm location and home atmosphere!
nothing, everything was great!
Friendly service. Pretty lodge with attractive room. Safe for valuables. Appreciated that our ferry tickets were bought for us beforehand. Wifi in the room.
The room was expensive compared to other accommodation which was as good. The bathroom was small. Shower took a while to warm up. Location a bit far from the pier and we had to walk as a taxi was not available. Breakfast for vegans was not good.
Just everything, it was completely perfext. Big spacious clean rooms, huge bed, balcony with hammocks, showers with strong and hot water, fast wifi (for islands), lovely breakfast, super location close to the peer and last but truely not least lovely warm and welcoming hosts that just make you (and all other guests) feel comfortable and part of the family. Best accomodation in Ecuador. Stay there if you have the chance and then stay a bit longer :)
Absolutely nothing. Even when Puerto Ayora was out of electricity one night due too heavy rain the days before, they provided an amazing breakfast for us.
Yesenia was friendly , helpful and informative. Awesome room on top floor.
Everything. The location, the rooms, the breakfasts. But more than that the exceptional service provided by staff, who provided great advice and booked all our travel and touring needs. A wonderful location for the holiday of a lifetime.
- Good Breakfast - Great bedroom - Good location - Very nice staff
- The drain in the shower was not working so well... - Internet speed is far from great... but I could use it to browse around... post a few pictures... ok
From the first moment on it was clear that the hosts wanted to make our stay as relaxing and easy as possible. They were very helpful with our questions, way beyond just B-related things. In particular the help with planning tours was greatly appreciated. The house and patio are in great condition, and our room, balcony and bathroom were as big and comfy as I would only expect in a luxury hotel.
We liked the breakfast centered around fresh fruit, juice and good coffee. Though, if you expect a warm breakfast every day, you might be somewhat disappointed.
Wonderful accomodation, very friendly, good breakfast, welcoming
This hotel is sweet and beautiful and has all what we appreciate: nice towels, fine bed linnens, a good shower; and all the plugs are in the right place. We came during the morning, but nevertheless had our room already waiting for us.
The hotel looks new, it only has 6 rooms, and they have all you require for a pleasant stay. Joselyn the owner treats you like family and helps in everything she can. Every thing I requested she made it happen without complaint, and always with a smile. She cooks the breakfast which is very nice, and prepares it however you like. It's only 2 blocks from the center of town. I will definitely stay here for my next trips to Galapagos.
First of all -- Joseline is the best. Months before I stayed at her fantastic hotel, she was helping me line up boat trips and ferries. When I accidentally booked a flight out of the wrong island --she helped me find alternate transportation. She is a gem. Her hotel is immaculate. It is comfortable and in a great location. What a treat to stay at Galapagos Suites.
The B&B was spotless! I can't believe how well maintained it is. The breakfast was wonderful. You really feel like you are staying with family. The location is a little far from the port but close to a nice section of Charles Darwin for shopping and restaurants. We slept great! The rooms are really comfortable.
I would love to have a pool for the kids but that is a bit unrealistic.
An excellent small hotel/pension. Very clean with nice interrior. The 2 rooms in the 2. floor have a nice view around the town. In total 6 or 7 rooms.
We had a wonderful stay here. The room and hotel were beautiful and immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious and varied. And the proprietor was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We'd recommend.
I originally booked in here for three nights planning to move to another island afterwards. Unfortunately i developed the flu shortly after arriving and felt so unwell that i ended up staying 7 nights. This was not a hardship. Joceline the owner was one of the nicest people i have met for a very long time. She did her best to look after us bringing me hot drinks when i felt unable to go out and ringing the doctor for advice on one occasion. The room was spotless with a massive bed, balcony with hammock, spacious living and bath room areas. The accomodation was minutes safe walk from the main road in town with all the shops restaurants and bars. Joceline was happy to provide advice on all activities and tours and helped to arrange these and taxis when we asked. We felt very at home here and were very sad to leave. I would strongly recommend this accommodation to anyone considering staying in the area. (If you read this Joceline thank you once again).
- Safe - near main part of Puerto Ayora but quiet - clean - new and modern equipement
- Room was on ground floor and breakfast area right in front of it in the garden. We hardly couldn't sleep in the morning or leave our window open - kind of sterile rooms. Stickers what to do and what not to do EVERYWHERE - the owner asked in advance a lot of things, e.g. about our allergies. For breakfast exact those things we explicetely denied as food where served! - be careful: offered prices for transportation, laundry etc. seem low but are in fact much higher than self-organized. For example they charge $30 for the transfer from the airport to Galapagos B&B. The actual price is $20 for two persons!!! and it's absolutely no problem to organize it right after your arrival - very limited variety of food for breakfast. On our first day there was NO CHEESE and HAM, just fruit and juice (we told them in advance about our allergies against these things), cake, coffee, tea, bread and cereales
My first thought was there is no need to give my rating opinion as others have already rated it almost entirely excellent. However, I have to say The Galapagos Suites is excellent for even the little details: the icing on the cake. For instance, the main light in the bathroom dims to a night light automatically: a very thoughtful touch. The air conditioning is very effective. Our room was airy and bright with several nice windows. The location is convenient: closer to the Charles Darwin Research Station than the port and an easy walk to shopping, restaurants and the bank. The. Post Office is across the street from the port so at the other end of town but still an easy 15 minute walk. And, the icing of the icing is Joselina, the owner. She is very kind, knowledgable, helpful and thoughtful. We would stay at The Galapagos Suites every time we visit Santa Cruz Island and stay in Puerto Ayora without hesitation.
