Very good location, nice layout, big garden and the swimming pool. Nice hearty breakfast. The personnel is great.
I was charged with 10% more for paying w/credit card
quiet spacious location within a short walk to central water front
weak wi-fi signal in room
ground level room, nice setting
poor quality breakfast
The hotel is pretty, the buildings are pretty and well arranged around the swimming pool. Alot of the facilities are new and seem freshly painted. The two ladies at reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast started early (6.30am) and consisted of 2 courses of fruit and yogurt and then eggs and jam. Delicious and well presented.
Proximity to town was very good and yet it is located away from the noisiness of the town center. Pool area was very nice and clean with nice garden area surrounding it. Breakfast was tasty although portions were somewhat small. Staff was friendly and helpful although most did not speak much English.
Room was large but could have used a few more chairs. Suitcase stands would also have been a plus. Cash payment was required. Although this is standard on the island it was very hard to obtain cash from the few ATM's. Very hit and miss.
Peaceful good pool and bar neat and tidy spacious
very poor wifi capability
Staff was great. Our original reservations had to be changed due to delayed and missed flights. They were very accommodating. During our stay, they provided us with lots of good information about tours and the island. Breakfast was also very good.
The mattress on the bed in our first room was terrible (soft and lumpy). When we complained, we were immediately given another room where the mattress was fine.
The Hotel Fiesta was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was in an excellent position not too close to the town centre but close enough to be able to walk everywhere. The complimentary breakfast every morning was great. The swimming pool was excellent and the surrounding grounds were very inviting. Overall it was a great holiday at Hotel Fiesta.
The Wi-Fi connection was very slow.
The owner serves the best piña colada I have ever tasted at the bar by the pool. The room was cleaned every day, and the ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing. It's a great location close to but not in downtown Puerto Ayora.
WiFi was very slow. Maybe it's a geographic issue.
The common area. Nice pool, pool table, ping pong table, patio. And it seemed like they were doing maintenence everywhere. Very well taken care of. Good service and breakfeast.
Really expensive considering the room you get. I would rate the room to be 2 stars, but the hotel facilities 3 stars. But with all fairness, everything is expensive in the Galapagos. Unstable WIFI unless you are in the common areas.
Short walk to the main waterfront area, supermarket and restaurants. Backs onto a mangrove reserve. Nicely presented resort style hotel with pool, internet access and in-house laundry service at reasonable prices. Good breakfasts and staff service was excellent. Good value all round. Rooms were clean and presentable although basic.
The air conditioner was a little noisy and I had difficulty accessing the wi-fi (but wired connections are available in the reception building)
I like the location, the room , the pool and the staff.
The breakfast is ok but could be a little better. The hotel doesn't inform about the best places to visit . I would like to make a suggestion to booking.com in order to inform total price of the hotel including the fees, since the price was charged 25% more than it was informed.
the pool the grounds/gardens breakfast
Very nice staff. I loved their pool! They let us store our luggage there for a couple days when we visited another island. Breakfast was good and served early so you could eat and go on a tour. Quiet location but just a couple blocks from the main drag, pier and grocery store. Arrange your tours and ferry rides with Francheska at Cabomartur. They are across from the pier next to the Catholic Church. Her office is the one recessed back from the street. Great prices and great service. Give her a hug for me!
Beautiful location, close to the harbor. Great, helpful staff. Yummy breakfast. Had a great time.
Will never stay there again
Hotel is quite and near to the tortuga Bay. The pool is delicate and the breakfast is nice. The staff at the hotel is nice and responsible.
The AC is extremely loud. and I change many rooms and it remains the same. the bed light can not worked.
For a tropical island it was by far the best that I had seen. The staff was amazing, breakfast was fantastic! Loved the pool. It was a very easy short couple minute walk to the main part of town.
As a tropical island there are a lot of bugs but that can't be avoided
Beautiful, resort-feel. Great breakfast each morning. Perfect location for us, a few blocks away from the noisy streets, but quick walks to anywhere. During our stay there were two women taking turns working at reception, one spoke English and one did not.
Unfortunately, being positioned so close to the mangroves brought large beetles that kept getting into our room (and bed) at night, which was a little gross. Our room was at the far end of the building, so we could only get Wifi by sitting in the common areas, and even then it was pretty slow.
Staff and the pool setting
All of the bugs and the barking dog and loud cat in the room next to me. Also the bedspreads need replacing.
nice pool and public areas
Lovely room overlooking the gardens and pool which backed onto the adjacent mangroves and lagoon which was a lovely walk. Great and much needed aircon. Lovely breakfast in an open air setting. Location was very good, a quiet location just a short walk from the pier.
Only downside was we thought it was quite expensive when adding the 12% tax and 10% service to the bill, others told us they were staying in much better value rooms also with aircon. They also added a 10% levy if you wanted to pay by card and we struggled to get so much cash out from the cashpoints so bring cash with you if you can.
To have a non english speaking lady at the Reception of a Hotel that due to the price level has foreign tourists is not acceptable. Besides the fact that she did not speak english, she made a uncompetent imression as she was not able to handle a payment by Visa. The computer sysem was also not clear to her as she asks me how long I stay... she was not sure how to get this information from the system. I expected an english news chanel.
Everything was nice - the staff was helpfule, room was clean, still it was nice to have this not big pool
