The staff is amazingly nice and helpful, the place is relaxed and quiet , nice pool, rooms are great. We loved it. Great breakfast
The aircondition and the . refrigerator are too noisy The wifi in the room is not good, the best signal is in the pool but also quite low. It's not the closest to the town center but it's only a 7 minutes walk so it doesn't bother at all
The swimming pool! The design and high-quality furnishings of the grounds as well as the rooms. The staff's suggestions for dinner were appropriate and suited our preferences.
I wished the swimming pool had opened at 7:30 am instead of 9:00.
Helpful staff and very good Breakfast
The people were very helpful and answered all our questions as well as helped arrange the tours we wanted to different islands. They fixed a leaky faucet in our room the quickly. Wonderful staff!
Internet is erratic on the island and Wi-Fi is Not available throughout the grounds as was advertised. The staff again were excellent and showed us where it worked best.
The staff were welcoming Good facilities for table tennis and pool Breakfast was nice
The pool was out of action which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel The room was tired and the toilet smelt bad Beware the extra 22% charges levied on top of the advertised price and the 10% charge for using a credit card. No restaurant or bar as far as we could gather
The staff were excellent especially the young man at the reception desk whose English was very good. The pool was clean and refreshing and swimming towels were available. WiFi was good. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a renovated room which was clean, comfortable and neat. There was a safety deposit box available. Being a couple of blocks from the front it was quiet and a welcome oasis from the bustle of the harbour. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all.
It was all good!
Location, room space, breakfast
Quiet and clean
Water took a bit to get hot
Just 5 min walk from town / the port in a quite street on the way to Tortuga Bay Nice poolside area Good breakfast Good wifi Very quiet Secure room for luggage storage Helpful staff Short walk to main street and the port
Suitable for older couples / families, as there is no restaurant or bar open late, no use of the pool in the evening etc. Air conditioner was very loud so couldn't sleep with it on We were only staying one night so probably should have chosen a hostel or cheaper hotel
Room very nice and general lay-out with nice swimming pool; very friendly staff; good English as well; nice - typical Ecuadorian - breakfast; easy and quick to reach port and town centre; very clean and everybody very helpful and happy; if I should ever come back to the Galapagos I would stay there again
Although the entrance to the Tortuga bay area is very close you still have to walk more than two km to get there - which is no problem, but it would be nice to know before
The hotel staff went out of their way to take care of requests from calling cabs to calling in a masseuse. Great service and a well-located nicely maintained facility. Highly recommended!
Close to town, pool and outdoor facilities awesome. Breakfast excellent and efficient. Very helpful staff. Anything wrong was instantly fixed. Helped in arranging tours, cabs, etc.
Rooms are small, but adequate
The hotel was in a very central location. The external Facilities like the pool and terrace were good. So were the breakfast and the wifi.
The high-end price ($100) per night was a poor value/money. The towels were in a poor shape and the airconditioning was very noisy, so we had to switch off during the night. The only possibility to pay was in cash. For much less Money you can get something better in Puerto Ayora
staff location price if it lived up to reviews
no wifi in room bathroom not really clean sink tap leaked showerhead broken airconditioning VERY noisy stayed only one night and moved hotels
Very good location, nice layout, big garden and the swimming pool. Nice hearty breakfast. The personnel is great.
I was charged with 10% more for paying w/credit card
quiet spacious location within a short walk to central water front
weak wi-fi signal in room
ground level room, nice setting
poor quality breakfast
The hotel is pretty, the buildings are pretty and well arranged around the swimming pool. Alot of the facilities are new and seem freshly painted. The two ladies at reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast started early (6.30am) and consisted of 2 courses of fruit and yogurt and then eggs and jam. Delicious and well presented.
Proximity to town was very good and yet it is located away from the noisiness of the town center. Pool area was very nice and clean with nice garden area surrounding it. Breakfast was tasty although portions were somewhat small. Staff was friendly and helpful although most did not speak much English.
Room was large but could have used a few more chairs. Suitcase stands would also have been a plus. Cash payment was required. Although this is standard on the island it was very hard to obtain cash from the few ATM's. Very hit and miss.
Peaceful good pool and bar neat and tidy spacious
very poor wifi capability
Staff was great. Our original reservations had to be changed due to delayed and missed flights. They were very accommodating. During our stay, they provided us with lots of good information about tours and the island. Breakfast was also very good.
The mattress on the bed in our first room was terrible (soft and lumpy). When we complained, we were immediately given another room where the mattress was fine.
The Hotel Fiesta was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was in an excellent position not too close to the town centre but close enough to be able to walk everywhere. The complimentary breakfast every morning was great. The swimming pool was excellent and the surrounding grounds were very inviting. Overall it was a great holiday at Hotel Fiesta.
The Wi-Fi connection was very slow.
The owner serves the best piña colada I have ever tasted at the bar by the pool. The room was cleaned every day, and the ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing. It's a great location close to but not in downtown Puerto Ayora.
WiFi was very slow. Maybe it's a geographic issue.
The common area. Nice pool, pool table, ping pong table, patio. And it seemed like they were doing maintenence everywhere. Very well taken care of. Good service and breakfeast.
Really expensive considering the room you get. I would rate the room to be 2 stars, but the hotel facilities 3 stars. But with all fairness, everything is expensive in the Galapagos. Unstable WIFI unless you are in the common areas.
