Mantaraya Lodge in Puerto López mixes fantastic architecture with bright colours, an outdoor pool and a tropical setting. Its air-conditioned rooms have private bathroom and a balcony with a hammock. The beach is 3 km away. The restaurant serves Ecuadorian and international food. Breakfast includes tea and coffee, as well as eggs, toast with butter and jam, cereals and empanadas (local pasties). The spacious rooms in Mantaraya have large windows and traditional tiled floors. All have fans. Diving, snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding with beach activities are organized, as well as visits to la “Isla de la Plata”, which is 3 km away. Puerto López can be reached in about 5 minutes by car. The lodge will be happy to help arrange tours of the local area. La limpieza de las habitaciones es deplorable, es increíble que no se tomen la molestia de lavar el trapeador con el que limpian los pisos el olor era insoportable. El desayuno podría ser mucho mejor. No hay variedad en la comida por favor estan en la costa como es posible que la sopa sea de quinua!!, La jacuzzi nunca estuvo caliente todo el tiempo frío, la verdad espero no volver!
