Score from 28 reviews Wonderful
The staff were very helpful when we asked advice on where to find food, entertainment etc. Double glazing on windows so no noise from outside. Very well situated for everything. Great view from the dining are.
Excellent location, near the Old Cathedral, New Cathedral, Mercado 10 de Agosto, Handcraft Center, museums. For the ones who like to be near everything. Clean, good staff, good breakfast. Separated WC and shower.
No elevators. The breakfast is held on the 5th floor
Staff and location were great. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the Square which was nice. The traffic was very noisy during the day but from 9pm until about 7.30am it was really quiet.
Noisy traffic during daytime.
Street noise No tables Or place for soap and health Care things in bath
Room with window and balcony overlooking San Francisco Church & Plaza Comfy bed and pillows Big room with plenty space, even with desk and chair WiFi was full strength signal in room and very fast (for South America) Staff very friendly and helpful
Smell of neighbour smoking on their balcony would come into our room Carpet could do with cleaning - looked clean but walking with bare feet would turn soles of feet black quite quickly
Booked 3 nights. Put us in one room for one night and then made Us move to a different room for 2 nights. Poor management.
Nice quite hotel
location - very good 5 mins walk from the main square.
Our room overlooked the main road, so was a bit noisy at night - especially the beeping of the traffic lights. Could have done with double glazed windows.
We especially liked the location. From our smartly, decorated and comfortable room we were able to walk to nearby restaurants, museums, and shops, plus the delightful walkways along the river.
We had some difficulty communicating with desk clerks whose only English vocabulary was "No English!" Even after we asked in basic Spanish, the clerk could not tell us where to find an ATM.
Good sized room, though the bathroom was rather small and comfortable bed; balcony (as requested); very good wifi
not many restaurant options close by
The staff was courteous and helpful. Having breakfast on the top floor with great view was nice way to start the day.
bus noise very loud in room facing presidente Cordova street.
The location is good. The view from breakfast room is gorgeous. Staff nice and friendly.
The light switch in our bathroom was just at the shower curtain. Right at the shower. A bit scary.
Location was great. Our first trip to Cuenca we stayed in a hotel quite a distance from the center of town. Hotel Milan is literally in the center of town so we never had to take a taxi anywhere.
The staff was very nice but one reason we chose Hotel Milan is because the listing said there was someone at the front desk 24/7 that spoke english. Out of all of the staff over 6 days only 1 employee spoke english 1 day.
Windows in our room were double glazed so a lot of the street noise was eliminated. Good location.
Staff was helpful
Rooms were small lots of street noise
Nice breakfast included, location right in the heart of old towm, fantastic for all the Christmas and new year celebrations,
