Staff did the best to accommodate us as we did not speak Spanish.

Service at the in-house restaurant was poor and slow. Some of the food was excellent but some was nor up to par.

the Breakfast is good and the staff is very kind and very helpful.

la location is not good, is located on the top of the hill and is so difficult to get there. the place is so far from the touristic sites and the place is too noisy.

Friendly and helpful staff. Central location. Nice view. Clean.

Poor road. Noise; road noise, children noise, front desk noise. Perhaps only a problem with room 110. Repetitive breakfast menu. No towel racks. Broken shower head.

They were willing to arrange transportation around midnight on New Year's Eve. They let me use the office computer to check my email.

The listing says the hotel is near the airport. They mean the old airport! It is 45 kilometers from the new uio and required an hour's taxi ride - $30.00 each way. Change the listing under Quito Airport!

This is not a *** hotel. We originally booked for 7 nights but, after having seen the room, we cancelled the future reservations, the evening of our arrival.

Staff is very friendly and they arranged to cook something for a vegetarian. The view from the dining room is very beautiful.

The hotel is noisy, guests and staff shouts at any hour at the corridors, didn't understand why. When I arrived, my room was taken by another guest, so they put me in a room without any window, with a moldy bathroom, very stinky. The staff, even being friendly, seemed to be not professional, they looked like not trained to do the multiple function they were supposed to. The hotel was in very high hill, so if you are without a car you will have to take a taxi just to go up or down. If you are feeling the high altitude problems, forget it!

Price and staff, two colombian (a man and a woman) that gave their biggest effort to give a fair service even when facilities at the hotel weren't the best.

All the rest, specially location which is in the middle of a super high hill, very difficult to access the hotel by foot if you don't have a car or take a taxi. Facilities were poor for the price, there was dust in some corners of the room I was given, no windows and no wifi as was promoted in the hotel profile in There were also several fabric strips stapled over the walls edges not only as decoration but also to cover cracks in the construction. At some moments of the night there were no people at the front desk so you had to call them by doorbell button and wait till they appear while is cold, lonely and foggy outside.

It is family owned and operated. They are incrediy friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. It had a very homey, comfortable feel to it. They have a great menu that is cooked to order and is delicious. As a solo traveler in Quito that does not speak Spanish I couldn't have found a better place to stay.

The staff were very friendly Breakfast included was nice but should have more varieties

They should have at least 1 person who speaks in english. They should give private spanish lessons. Travel informations should be more accessible.

The bed was comfortable. The wake-up call and shuttle to the airport were prompt. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

I arrived in the late afternoon and leaving for the airport at 3:00 am. There was no food service available until 7:30 pm. The convenience store by the lobby did not have any food items except for potato chips and such. Since I had to go to bed very early I had to settle for peanuts and potato chips for dinner. The very old carpet in my room was not clean, the room had a "chemical" smell to it, the sheets were very wrinkled, and the bathroom floor grimy. The TV channels were very limited. Obviously, the hotel was in the process of being remodeled (scaffolding and debris in the hallways and stairs) and perhaps my room was on the top of the list for being revamped but nevertheless, it was not a pleasant experience.
