Hotel Rio Piedra  

We very much liked the staff, who went out of their way to make our stay in Cuenca enjoyable.

Rooms facing the street are noisy.

This hotel is close to the center of the park with many things near by. Excellent location and clean.

The only downside of this hotel would be the traffic noise on the street.

Very noisy the whole night ! One night at 5 in the morning a guest wanted to enter the hotel but there was nobody at the reception so he kept on ringing the bel, knocking on the door, calling the office but nobody answered. I even put some cloths on to see where the 24 hours receptionist was. This problem was for more then half an hour ! Told about this complain the next day but the receptionist only made up an excuse !

la oscuridad de la habitacion que se me asigno. el ruido que se escucha de una habitacion A otra. Y la atenciÓN por parte de las chicas de recepciÓN, porque los chicos si nos atendieron bien Y fueron cordiales

Confortable y familiar

La habitación a la calle. Resulta molesta en la noche por el movimiento. Automotriz y el sonido de las farras de el rededor.

El hotel es cómodo, acogedor y limpio. Su ubicación es buena, dentro del centro histórico de Cuenca.

Es que me robaron dentro de la mochila en la habitación, un perfume, una camiseta, una toalla de microfibre que era nueva. El gerente sospecho de huspedes; yo sospeché de su joven ayudante (1. El estaba presente al momento del robo; 2. El no fue sorpredindo al conocer el hecho; 3. El se sentió mal cuando le miré). Lamentablemente esta estupida conducta no puede que dañar al turismo...

Esta dentro del casco colonial, tiene muy buena ubicacion hacia todos los puntos estrategicos de la ciudad en su parte comercial y turistica.-

Que no tienen servicio de restaurant ni room service

Ofrecen aparcamiento gratuito y es solo por las noches, no hay ascensor, y nos tocó el último piso y me reubicaron en el segundo, menos mal porque al salir no había quien bajara el equipaje, es un hotel para viajeros solo en plan de negocios en las inmediaciones. Al día siguiente cambié a otro hotel. La srta de recepción hizo todo a su alcance para complacer mis exigencias y al final me exoneraron el coste del aparcamiento.

Me gusto mucho la ubicacion y la limpieza del hotel....

Location was good, price was ok. My room would have been good for a family; had 3 beds, a hot plate with 2 burners, sink, and storage

Loud music was playing on the floor above me at 1115 pm. The front desk clerk did deal with it, but I had to get dressed and go downstairs to ask about it. They do not tell you anything about breakfast, and with the way the hotel is built noise carries. It is a LOUD place. The room felt dingey and the only reading lamp in the room didnt work. I believe I could have stayed at a hostel for half the price. Wont stay there again.

Had to keep asking for clean towels almost every day. Same with toilet paper. Room was not made up one day. Had to ask them to make up the room late one night. Terrible traffic noise from street. Breakfast was the same every day. Boring!!
