Kitchen was great to have available. Bedroom was comfortable and beds outstanding - some might find a bit hard, but great for those of us with back problems. Clean and overall a pleasant stay.
Living room can hardly be called a living room as so small, virtually useless.
Wifi.conforto. Custo benefício.
O café da manhã pode melhorar.
A real little gem! Lovely hotel, with all the necessary comforts, and a wonderfully large comfy bed! Topped off with a pool and a delicious breakfast spread!
Clean modern room with good shower. nice pool area
a bit expensive the breakfast don't include eggs and are served only until 8:30
Very clean Hot shower, good pressure Good hot breakfast Free coffee, tea, filtered water Five to ten minute walk to most restaurants and supermarkets Convenient day tour booking Owners live onsite
Road construction noise outside for first few days of our stay Dogs bark at night - louder in front rooms, less audible in back rooms
Free access to drip coffee, filtered water and ice. The bathroom was gorgeous and water was hot. The airconditioning worked fantastically well.
Security was a bit slack since the door didn't seem to be ever locked and the staff were hard to find most of the time.
Excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good pool. Spoke English and helped with tours. Breakfast good.
good breakfast, nice place
does not accept credit card
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned and changed each day with fresh towels. Very clean. Short walk to the town and to the street food restaurants.
There was a lot of noise. We couldn't work out where the noise was coming from but it sounded like a generator or heating system. There was also a dog from the neighbouring property who would constantly bark all night and scratch at the floor - the property with the dog was at a different level so it sounded like he was trying to dig his way through the wall!! We had 3 rooms in total and heard the same noises from all the rooms.
Room was perfect - clean, lots of space, awesome shower, super comfy bed and private balcony. Nice outside patio/seating areas, great location in town, breakfast was decent.
There are 3 large dogs on this property that bark a fair bit, and are kept in a small tiled area around outside of hotel. Staff seems to live on premises, but there is no real sense of who or when help is available. Typical noise from other dogs in neighbourhood.
Other rooms are nice.
There is one room w/o windows, very dark and hot, AC has to be on. Make sure you don't get it.
It was a very nice little hotel. Really liked the pool, complimentary breakfast, and it was the best shower I had in Ecuador. Staff very nice and helpful.
Nice staff. They helped us to book Seymour excursion, which would not have been possible to do through travel agencies because it was fully booked. Bright and clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Scrambled eggs for breakfast made at the moment.
Staff speak English , very clean , great breakfast .
everything was perfect
Room was clean Air conditioning worked well Large room for a family
We had a very odd experience in that the owner and staff made no effort whatsoever to assist us with tours. A magazine was tossed on our kitchen counter showing various tours the hotel company ran but there was no follow-up at all with us or any attempt to sit down with us to explain them. Some in our party spoke Spanish and some English. The staff could not speak English and were generally disengaged. This tainted our experience at this hotel. The value for money at this hotel is questionable. By the time the 22% VAT and service charge are added to the cost and the owner insisting all payments are in cash, the cost of the room approached $300 per night. I would take a flier on a hotel at 1/2 that price before staying at the Santa Fe again.
Nice friendly helpful owner. Rooms quite large and comfortable and cleaned every day. Close to jetty and restaurants. Good breakfast. Book exchange. Wifi okay.
Staff is really friendly. Very clean hotel It is nice to have a fridge. Wifi is excellent!
Overall we had a nice stay at Hotel Santa Fe. The room is clean and comfortable and the included breakfast is excellent. The hotel is centrally located and the staff are friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is passable for sending emails.
The price was quite high compared to other hotels in town.
Just 1 1/2 blocks from one of the main streets. Pool was nice. Breakfast included a bread basket, granola, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, and eggs made to order. Owner that lives on site was pleasant and available to help make arrangements for tours.
Room and bathroom were small. We only had a standard room with 2 beds. The breakfast was the same everyday. I thought the room was a bit pricey for the size. We kept getting beetles in our room.
Close to attractions; the path to Tortuga Bay, Puerta Ayora docks, and the Darwin Center.
Access at front entry was not clearly signed. Door locks to rooms were not easy to work. The ceiling fan in one room was noisy, barely operational.
The room and common area were excellent. I didn't really need it, but the air conditioner was an added bonus. Wifi was excellent. The bathroom was very clean and hot water in the shower was amazing. Room also had a safe to lock important stuff in. Breakfast was good.
Although there was a gigantic dead bolt on the door, housekeeping would opened the windows during the day to let the breeze in. That by itself was great, but the window screens have no latches. I know that technically screens are pretty easy to break through, but in this case you didn't even have to break anything, just push them open and step over the low window sill in to the room. The area felt safe, but I like it to be slightly harder for an intruder.
The hotel owner knew who we were when we arrived and our rooms were ready. She gave us a map of the city and pointed out some places to visit. She checked with us several times during the day to make sure we had what we needed. And served us breakfast early so we could meet our cruise ship on time.
Some members of our party were bothered by the beetles in our rooms. Not really the fault of the hotel owner during a beetle invasion.
